2 Water Hyacinth Bundle + 2 Water Lettuce - Live Pond Plants Bundle

Extremely pleased with how the plants where shipped. They are a lil beat up but anything I hope they can bounce back from. I requested heat and they where more than happy to add a heating pad for the plants. One happy customer. I hope they bounce back for they will not be in a pond but a open top Aquarium. Update. They have now been in my tanks for a week and the palnts are still doing extremely well. I will say a T4 full spectrum light has worked the best for these plants. I got added lil bonus too. Each plant had sister plants. I trimmed them off the mother plant so it didn't need to feed the lil ones too. They seem to have bounced back quicker. Ppl have failed only for they did not know how to care for these plants.

I ordered these since it seemed like a good balance since most individual plants were kind of pricy and the lots had too many for my smallish pond. So I figured I would try this one to even see if they would work for what I needed them to be. I just received them and they look great! I got them very quickly and they are a lot bigger and more mature than I was expecting. The water lettuces are as big as my hand, still has nice leaves and looks really healthy with no damage. Even got one little baby lettuce about the size of my thumb. The water hyacinths do look a bit rough on a few of the pod/leaves but considering each plant has at least 6 it shouldn't be an issue and other then that look really good. I am going to be keeping them in a bucket for the next few days as there has been an unexpected cold snap where I live but will update on if they do well or die once I get them settled in my pond.

Be careful of the 2 hour window in which to report defective plants. The lettuce was falling apart when I received the plants but I went ahead and put them in my pond hoping they would revive. When they did not, I as told that I was late on the 2 hour window after delivery and the plants would not be replaced as I requested. My advice -- if you order from this vender, report a claim ASAP if there is even the tiniest defect. Don't wait to see what happens with the plant.

I've tried twice to grow these in my indoor pond but without success. They arrived in perfect condition. I cleaned them up by removing any loose pieces since they are somewhat messy at first. I just rinsed them in a bucket of water. They looked great at first but then turned to mush after several weeks in the pond. The first time I blamed it on my goldfish but I no longer have fish in this pond. If anyone has any tips for growing them I'd love to hear from you. They are very pretty and appeared healthy when they arrived.

Took a long time to recover from the root trimming they do before shopping but plants were healthy. Not sure if my fish got gill flukes from them but we had an outbreak about a month after introducing the plants and lost a fish. Would be nice if they could guarantee that their plants are free from parasites.

I Recieved Absolutely Beautiful Water Plants. They were well packed, with wet newspaper that kept them all moist during transit sealed inside a plastic bag and then boxed. Other sellers have sent me half to totally dead plants, however Backyard Sales of Florida sent me Large Very Healthy Plants. I am Very Impressed and Thankful for such lovely plants at a reasonable price. I just received them today, so hopefuly they survive in my little 10x15 foot koi pond, but if they don't it would be my fault, because these things arrived in superb condition because of how wisely they were packed. It was obvious this company really loves their plants and wants to make sure they arrive in good condition. Large Plants, Well Packed To Survive the USPS Priority Mail Journey from Florida to Virginia were I live. I highly recomend these guys for your pond plant needs.... I am looking forward to seeing them multiply and provide shade cover for my Koi.

The four plants I received were VERY small and in questionable health. They did recover and are now healthy and growing. I have grown both types many times over the years so I feel I know what I am looking at when it comes to quality plants.

Plants arrived safely packaged and on time within 48 hours of shipping. They were on the small size but expected that from other reviews. Lettuce has grown in the last three days and starting to round out. Water hyacinth had very short roots but expect them to grow quickly as well. Overall satisfied with plants, pricing, and shipping. Nice addition to our outdoor pond with goldfish. Update. After 10 sunny days in my pond, the hyacinth has grown two new babies and new roots have grown in very nicely. Water lettuce has doubled in size and I am extremely happy with my purchase.
