I bought a used S9 a year ago through Verizon and have been real pleased with it, so I now got this one for my wife thru Amazon. The S9 is a great phone and was Samsung's flagship over 4 years ago, but I find the phone to be such a solid item that it's still very desirable. The were designed to be waterproof and pretty much bullet proof. I've really enjoyed mine this past year and it functions perfectly - I don't have to be bleeding edge by any means, and the S9 more than fits my needs, and then some.As for this current unit, it was unlocked and works fine on Verizon. I can see no wear on it at all, except possible a slight smudge on the back if I look close. It came in the original box with a charger, so I suspect the thing may still be new. If not, it was taken care of very, very well! (recommend always getting a used phone in "excellent condition" even though it may cost $10-20 more - well worth it in my book)

Good for the price but worn out battery

Just like my old s9 this renewed product is perfect. Came in almost brand new condition and works fantastically. Battery is still healthy and this phone has a lot of life left in it!

This is the 2nd renewed S9 I have purchased. I have the 1st and this S9 is for my son. I am a heavy user. Its not quite as snappy fast as a new device but for the $$$, its a great deal. Strong battery, face recognition unlocks very well, fingerprint scan works great, and not a scratch or imperfection to be found.

This phone was previously a Sprint phone, and although it was unlocked there was still some residual Sprint firmware that caused issues with TracFone, my wireless carrier. My wireless data connection was never faster than 3G (which is being phased out) and was always roaming. The status bar showed "Preferred System" and when I restarted the phone I would get a notification of "OMADM activation not completed." I ended up flashing the phone with the factory unlocked software and it works properly now, but this is not for the faint of heart.

Phone was fine for a while, not the sound volume is not loud enough and no options on the phone make it any louder. Do not buy

I have bought two of these phones now (I sent the first back for an exchange), and both have had the exact same problem. They come with AT&T firmware installed which appears to prevent my Straight Talk service from working correctly. The phone's ability to make & receive SMS and phone calls comes and goes, while the mobile data has NEVER worked on either of the phones. I've tried to work with the seller, my carrier, and Amazon, and I've researched the issue extensively to try to find another solution besides sending back the second phone, but to no avail.Following the seller's instructions for how to ensure the phone works with my carrier has not helped in the least. I even performed a factory reset and tried all over again with the second phone, with the same result. AT&T bloatware insists on overriding and interfering with my Straight Talk service, and there's no option to skip the step during setup of allowing AT&T to set up, transfer, and manage such services as voicemail, accounts, and content transfers.I tried repeatedly restarting to skip the step or have it really perform like an unlocked phone, but to no avail. Aside from an already weak battery life, this phone was a wonderful step up from my former phone (S8), but it's not worth all this headache, and it's no good if it doesn't perform the most basic functions. Bottom Line: If you have Straight Talk, don't buy this phone!

francamente pense que llegaria un poco rallado y lento en su procesamiento pero estpy contento con mi compra
