I wanted to love the original of this, since it's recommended so often for under makeup, but the original smelled SO BAD that it actually triggered an allergic reaction and made me sneeze for several hours nonstop. MISERY. This is a great replacement! No fragrance, no sneezing, and it STILL worked great under makeup! I have normal/combo skin, leaning dry (sometimes, when it feels like it) and I had no issues with it. I only wear it under makeup, though, so not an everyday thing for me. Love the feel of it, it definitely felt moisturizing! Cost is good, too! Will purchase again!

I have sensitive, acne-prone, rosacea skin (37 years old, it blows), and somehow this is one of the ONLY moisturizers that doesn't burn my skin or make acne worse. I love that when I rub it into my skin, it doesn't emulsify and leave white all over my face. It just blends into the skin seamlessly. And this is ther perfect for under your makeup! No need for a separate primer. I even tried Vanicream (the silicone-free ultra-sensitive skin one), and that burned my face. I went back to this one. The price tag is not fun, but honestly, my skin loves it, and it's worth it. It has a thin consistency to it, and spreads easily, so you don't need much of it. The tube is a more metal material so I use a hair color tube squeezer and I am able to get almost ever single drop out of the tube, so it lasts longer than the plastic tubes (and is less wasteful).

I finally found my holy grail!!! I was on the hunt for a moisturizer to use with tretinoin that wasn't greasy but still super hydrating. Before this I tried LRP Toleriane moisturizer and it burned my skin so bad, I threw that in the garbage. This doesn’t burn at all. It’s lightweight but extremely moisturizing especially while using tret, my face is never dry. I read you can double this as a make up primer too, will be trying that next. Embryolisse leaves my skin feeling buttery soft without that greasy/oily residue. And to top it all off it comes in a cute aluminum tube - I love it! Get it!!

Great under makeup on my normal/combination skin. Very moisturizing and smoothing, so you don't need a primer. For daytime, I use a moisturizing sunscreen without moisturizer underneath; but for a night out, this is what I reach for. Love it!

I have a scrip that mostly has cleared up my eczema, unfortunately when it decides to show up it's always on my face, particularly around the eyes. I wanted an alternative to using steroids and saw this as a recommendation. I was skeptical as hell as OTC lotions and "natural" solutions have never helped my ridiculously sensitive skin, but WOW! Within a week all of the dryness, redness & rashy irritation has cleared up. This sinks right in & has helped so much! I'll never be without it again.

I really like the feel of this cream on my maturing skin. I use it both under my makeup and at night after my serums. It is not heavy or greasy but it is moisturizing. My skin is soft and supple in the morning when I wake up. I am very particular about scents and decided to go with this formula because it is fragrance free. While it may not have added fragrance, it definitely still has a scent. It is very odd and hard to describe. I don’t find it particularly pleasant but it dissipates pretty quickly. I just hold my breath while applying and by the time I’m done, the smell is gone. lol Definitely will repurchase.

Have rebought multiple times. I have been using for over two years and my sensitive skin loves it. I use it as my morning lotion, sits well under makeup when I wear it and absorbs well.
