SentryPET CARE Hydrocortisone Spray for Dogs, 4oz

Thank you Jesus! 🌿 I received the product today and immediately went to work on my special buddy named Mighty, the Pomeranian; I gave him a good cleaning and noticed that the hair on his underside felt as if it was almost stinging me, unlike the constant itching he was doing. It was breaking my heart to see him endure this, all of the late nights trying to make him feel comfortable, to no avail. I did my research and read a lot of the previous reviews and pics, this sounded like something we could benefit from. Sure enough, I gave him a little trim, applied the spray...within minutes he went from wanting to scratch to almost complete relief! I've been praying for this bc to watch someone you love in pain is unbearable; I know I sound like a big wimp, and I guess I am when it comes to him bc he chose me. And I'll do anything for him. My dog is part Chihuahua, which are known to have allergies. She loves being outside but the bottom of her belly gets really dark. The doctor said she is healthy and it may just be allergies. She does not scratch more often than usual really, but since it is clearly related to the weather (it goes back to white/pink in the winter when she is inside), I thought this spray may be great. Unfortunately, my dog HATES this and becomes a drama queen (rolling around in blankets and along the carpet) once I put this on. She actively runs away when I get it out (she does this with anything on her body). This is probably just a dog-specific issue, but something to be mindful of if your dog is similar. Part of it is to be dramatic cuz she stops when I look away, but it does make putting this on extra difficult. Thankful that it's in a spray versus a lotion though. Overall, fine product just not right for us.

My dog has very dry skin to start with but lately, she's been biting herself and pulling out her hair leaving painful red areas. I purchased this spray because I know it works for people so why not give it a try.After the first spray, she stopped scratching. I sprayed her a few more times over the next day and she has totally stopped scratching herself. This was well worth the money. I have other sprays that promise to stop an itch or a hotspot but they just did not work. This one does!

Updated review: I changed rating to five starts. Our dog’s fur has all filled in. It didn’t take long and I still have the second bottle I bought later.Our dog has a flea allergy and scratches all the time that her fur has thinned. I apply this all over her body which seems to help her from scratching so much. She looks relieved and her fur seems to be filling in slowly. I pour some on my fingers than apply onto her. Seems to be helping so I ordered one more. She does appear relieved.

This was a good value for the price. I use this on my bully’s paws as they get itchy and he licks and bites them. It’s helping him with the itchiness! The spray is gentle and quiet so it doesn’t make a big noise and doesn’t upset him when I spray his paws with it. If you found this review helpful, please click helpful. Thank you!
