I use these on my 2004 Audi A4 1.8T 6-speed. They are larger and less expensive than the factory filters, and Amazon usually gets them here in a day or two. I like the idea of having more oil volume and I don't trust most of the aftermarket filters.Nov-2013 update. These are getting more difficult to find and the price has increased. The Mahle part number is "OC 51".

Nice reliable product. Well packed, delivered on time, no surprises.
These filters never disappoint. I've been using these on my VWs for decades, never a failure. Most times I'll keep a vehicle for two hundred thousand miles with only regular service intervals.
