The top wooden part isn’t perfectly sided to the base. It’s nice otherwise of that doesn’t bother you.

I bought one of these trays when it was a Kickstarter and loved it. It felt like a very high-quality product and looks wonderful on a side table. Now I purchased this one to put on an office desk. I found that the bottom of the tray does not line up precisely with the wooden lid - the bottom juts out 1/8" in front of the lid leaving a noticeable mis-alignment. I replaced the product and the second one has the same problem. So, while this still feels like a high-quality product, this lack of precision is unsightly and not what I expect for the price. Too bad because the older version was perfect and precise.

Use for a bed side box, decent inside and the magnetic swivel is money, a bit torn on the design for the top storage maybe just have odd shaped key etc but love the product

Misaligned old, box not straight either. Emailed manufacturer, no answer. Returning. Not worth the price, much lower quality than expected for the price

Christmas present for my son. Packaging was ok. Have not opened it so cannot give 5 stars.

The tray lid doesn't align flush with the box. For the cost of the item, this is not an acceptable defect. Seller says the tray is handmade and variances occur. This is not an excuse because being handmade, it gives a person the opportunity to check for these alignment issues.
