I used this to paint four glass vanity lamp shades that were a dated yellowish off white color. It helped to cover up the old color without making the glass too opaque. The paint goes on very sheer but it's easy to use and apply thin coats to get the color you want. Review: Perfect product - We had some red lamps hung in our bedroom that matched her old decor. I didn’t wanna have to buy a new lamp, so I researched and found out how to remove the colored film from the lamp. Once done we then applied this product.. it was so easy to use. The heat of the bulb would most likely be a problem for the paint. If you're using the bulb for a project, this spray is great on glass. **Q: Can this be sealed with something to get a scratch proof paint job?** A: I haven't used mine yet but with the frost I spray a clear coat on afterwards to protect it from scratching so I'm sure this will be the same way. **Q: Can this be used on wood** A: I used it on wicker.
