Love this watch!!! No other cheapie watch has this type of LED brightness!! Unfortunately I had to return the first one’s “c” button, the button that’s needed to “set” the watch was not working or would take multiple squeezes to get it to work so I can set the watch. No big deal, cant expect too too much for its price. But.... They immediately shipped me out another in less than 2 days and works as it should! I actually slept with it on its that comfortable! Don’t hesitate to buy this watch! It displays the name of the day, the month/date, hrs mins and seconds all on its dial which is perfect! No flipping through buttons for day, date, time, etc! I can set it to operate in 24hr military time too. The alarm function is wonderful too! It also beeps on the hour which is appropriately loud which I like and need...and it has a feature for a second Time Zone as well! All for this price?! Crazy! Absolutely Love it! And im a big watch guy..I have over 25 and the LED light on this particular watch is absolutely fantastic! I cant brag enough about the LED backlighting! Super duper bright! This watch has a super soft silicone strap which makes it very light and comfortable!, as I mentioned prior, comfortable enough to sleep with it on which I NEVER DO! It looks great, and very “cool”. So if you’re thinking of buying it, DO IT! You wont regret it! ..and definitely being so inexpensive! This would also make a great gift for someone too as the box it comes in is small and plain jane and you cant tell its a sub $20 watch! Looks much much more expensive and doesnt look cheap AT ALL!! Very happy and proud of this purchase regardless of the initial broken watch with its non functioning “set” button. STILL giving it 5 stars all day long!

This watch has been through a lot in almost 2 years that I've had it. It survived my falls, being thrown, cold weather, hot weather, lots of running, paint ball, buckets of sweat in Alabama, etc. I had it for a year, and now my husband uses it. Still looks brand new, and we both used it a lot. In my opinion and experience, the durability is pretty great.Problems with this watch: from time to time, the wristband snaps, so you have to carefully reconnect it. In stressful situations, it can be pretty frustrating. It also can be pretty complicated to use. When I first got it, it felt like I had to memorize how to fly a plane. There are four buttons, and a lot of different features, so it takes a bit to figure it out (there is a manual though, so it is doable).Overall, it is a good watch. If I went camping, this would be one of the first things I'd pack.

As another reviewer said, this watch is clean and simple with no graphics of any kind on the bezel or band. It looks surprisingly upscale because of it. The band is made of a very soft and comfortable rubbery material, but only time will tell how long it will last. The display is very low contrast, and sometimes I have to rotate it see the numerals. The display lights very brightly when activated.I use this as my everyday casual watch, and since I'm retired I like that it has the date and day displayed because every day is a Saturday! (Sorry to all of you that have to work!) I do not use any of the other features on it, so I have nothing to report on that front. So far I have not put a scratch on it, but the display face is made of acrylic and it's flush to the bezel, so it's just a matter of time until it gets marred. At this price I would just pick up another one if it gets too beat up! It's a great watch for the money.Update 9/25/23: After 3 years it still works fine, but I have one thing to report. I sprayed myself down with bug repellant (DEET) and it damaged the smooth finish of the watch bezel. It held up pretty well until that mistake and now it looks like it sat under a Saturn rocket booster! DEET reacts with some plastics, and it's even recommended to renew old headlamp lenses. Unfortunately it ate my watch.

I bought this watch for my daughter's boyfriend. Him and my daughter both got jobs as a lifeguard for the Waterpark this summer. It has been less than a month since I bought it, and yesterday was his first official day after training for two weeks. Today while at work the band snapped off and a piece of the casing holding the band broke off with it. When it snapped it fell in the shallow water and the pin was lost, and as it shows in the pictures condensation is now inside the face. It still works but obviously not easy to read. I will also mention that last night I had to reattach the same side of the band and pin because it had snapped off. I have requested a replacement already with Amazon. He really loves this watch, so I am trying to be hopeful the replacement will be better. Maybe I just got one that was defective. Fingers crossed

Replaced similar watch because its plastic wrist band broke after a few months .This watch has a nice leather type band that should last. Also like the led dial light .

I officiate outdoor sports and need a watch that counts down time. Most of the games I do are outdoors and at night under artificial lighting. This watch is nearly impossible to see under those conditions. The viewing angle is approximately 30 degrees. If you aren't in that view you don't see anything. I need to see if it is running and how much time is left and I need to do that quickly while paying attention to the game. Trying to do a quick look at this watch doesn't work. The only way to see what is happening is to hit the backlight button. Now it's a two hand operation and taking longer than I need to get a quick look at what is happening. LCD's work on reflecting available light and the black face makes it very difficult to see the time. If you just want a casual watch it may be fine, but you won't be able to get a good view of the time if you on a date without staring at it. I didn't return it as the price is low, and now I know why. If you need a big display that's easily visible, this is not your watch.
