The smells come from botanicals in the product, not from chemical or synthetic ingredients. I too, am sensitive to (toxic) smells and am very pleased with this shampoo. I have had no negative side effects. **Q: What comes in this set? Is it just shampoo and conditioner, or does it include the bodywash and the lotion?** A: When I purchased this set in June 2018 I received the shampoo and conditioner only. The body wash and lotion were not included. Best chlorine removal shampoo and conditioner!
