It was easy enough for a 7-year old to build with, once his dad helped him get started. They built a solar battery, a solar-powered model car that ran on remote, and had endless hours of fun with this set. They said it was a good choice for a birthday present, and I’m overjoyed that they expressed that! Worth the investment and the extra effort to ship. 🤗

My daughter who is 8 years old loves playing with this. She can build all of the different things and enjoys seeing how they work.

My son really enjoys his Snap Circuits sets. Unlike some STEM kits he returns to the kit over and over as there are many items to build and the builds are interesting enough that he wants to build them repeatedly. The kit comes with a book that describes different ways to configure the set so there is always something new to try. Good quality and if you do break a piece individual replacement parts are available from the manufacturer at a reasonable price.

I bought this to go along with the Snap Circuits Light kit that I purchased for my 8 year-old grandson's birthday present. He loved them! The kits can be used together, which is why I purchased both. He likes the hand generator that comes with the Green Energy kit and uses it with the Light kit so that he can control the speed of the spinner in the Light kit. There is also a rechargeable battery in the Green Energy kit that will save $$ on battery use! The thing I love most about Snap circuits is that the kits can all be used together! The instruction booklets have easy to follow diagrams and the materials are pretty sturdy.

I bought this as a toy for my nephew and he really enjoyed it. It kept him busy, but in a good way, since he was actually building things and figuring out how the pieces worked together. I liked that it felt more useful than a regular toy. It’s fun, but there’s some learning mixed in too. Good gift if you have a kid who likes hands-on projects or taking things apart to see how they work.

This is a great gift and my grandchildren love this set.

Snap circuits are the best electrical kits for children to learn about electricity. They are very durable and well made. My sons love building fun circuits with them.
