Excellent Electronics Project kit that makes learning fun. Well thought out project designs.
I have fond memories of playing and experimenting with an electronics project kit as a kid. Out of the blue, my youngest son (7yrs) asked me about electronic circuits and these project kits. So after researching products here and elsewhere online, I decided to surprise him with this Snap Circuits project kit on his birthday.QUALITY and CONSTRUCTION:The kit consists of a number of electronic components embedded in “Snap Circuit” modules. Even though most of the connectors are solid bridges used to make connections between components, there are a few wire connectors. All the connectors and modules connect via a male/female snap.The base project board is made of plastic and is used to align the components when constructing the circuits.FUNCTIONALITY and IMPRESSIONSThe project manual is an excellent work book for learning about electronic components and circuits. My son loves to run through each project. I also love to work with him on these projects and feel that they explain the properties and functionality of each component and project at a level that he can understand.The Projects are interesting and build upon the previous to allow you child to understand basic concepts and to use them as “tools” to eventually create their own circuits bases on what they have learned.PROS:Quality components“Snap” method of connecting circuits is durable and forgiving with young children.Very detailed, yet easy to follow project book where each projects builds upon the previous.CONS:My son now wants me to buy him all the Snap Circuits Kits available.

Great for teaching basics to young kids.
I've bought these for nephews and other kids as gifts. They seem to enjoy playing with this. I appreciate that they are actually learning the basics of electricity in a safe, kid friendly environment.

These are PERFECT for our little smarty pants! He loves to put things together and take them apart and figure out how things work. This set NEVER gets old. We started with just a regular snap circuit set and have added this to the mix and the possibilities are endless. Easy to follow instructions make this hours of fun!

Great product
This is our third Snap Circuits set, and my child is already hooked! It’s a major upgrade from the original version, featuring a wide array of new electric components and parts. He’s already completed several projects, and my personal favorites include the glowing night light display and the electric fan with color-coded LED text. The variety of fun sounds it offers adds an extra layer of excitement. Overall, I highly recommend this product, especially as a great way to keep kids engaged and away from screens.

Perfect Gift for the young mind
My son saw one of these at a STEM night and fell in love with it. So, we got him one, and he has spent countless hours trying new things with it. It has so many different settings and is very durable. We have had it for about 6 months now, and he still uses it.

Excellent for fun and education
The Snap Circuits must be some of the best toys made for any aspiring electricians or electrical engineers. This was a second set for an 8 yr old and he has thoroughly enjoyed the projects and made a few of his own. Motor, generator, solar panel, lights, noise makers, etc. - lots of fun.

My grandson loved it
My grandson is quite gifted but has a short attention span. Once we assembled two of the circuits together he got the idea and assembled 27 by himself the next day. The assemblies are a little confusing at first but once we worked the first few out he was able to assemble the rest by himself. He received a similar product a day or two earlier and had no interest in that one but our working together made these much easier for him to understand and once he did he had a great time developing circuits.
