How many mesh openings does this have along with zippers does this have?

Hi Stef, and thank you for asking. This model has the zippered mesh opening on one end, and then another zippered opening on the top, both zippers are self locking SBS brand zippers which cannot be pushed open from inside the crate.

Thank you for asking. Please keep in mind that this Portable Pet Crate shown here, like all soft sided crates, is not designed or sale to be used as cargo carrying by airlines. This model is more of a portable pet house that is lightweight and easily carried from home to workplace for example.

As far as my line of airline capable in cabin under seat pet carriers, all are fairly popular and sometimes it’s just a question of preferred styling. The Gold and Platinum Series models are typical best sellers, but the backpacks have a growing following as well due to their practicality and ease of use as well. Is the bottom of the carrier water proof in case there are any messes?

there is a plush pillow inside which has a solid board like piece inside of that to make it a solid firm platform. my 4 dogs have been ill in it, and had accidents which i just remove the  solid hard board piece and wash the plush part. I think you could also line the hardboard piece with vinyl to protect that from being soaked should you not notice it for awhile. you can always order, check it out and if not what you expected return it. We have two and love them- the dogs argue as to who is allowed in to them when the other is inside- so I think we will be getting 2 more down the road- lol- they are great for home use and travel- nice strong zipper unlike some other brands that tend to have the zipper seperate when the dog puts any pressure on it by leaning near the opening.
