This book is a really a cheaply done reprint of a very old book that has been around for decades. First, the printing itself is blurry and "thick". It's not easy to read some of the notes when ledger lines are involved. Also many of the pages are slightly faded on the right half of the page. It just looks like a cheap photo copy of book.Also, and worse, is the actual binding itself. This is a book that does NOT stay open without extreme coercion. You practically have to break the binding to get it to stay on the same page on your music stand. It's so bad that i'm seriously considering taking the book down to the nearest print shop and having the binding redone with a spiral binding.Anyway, it's a cheaply printed book. There are better sources out there for this material.

My mom had this when I was a kid and so it's fun to have it again and play all the classics.I agree with other reviewers that the binding is kind of cheap, so it's hard to keep the pages open. I'm using potato chip bag clips to do that.I disagree about poor copy quality. The printing is just fine.

Aside from wishing the binding was spiral (it’s hard to keep the book open flat), it’s a great printed collection to have, with all the well known famous piano works.
