The most frustrating self-build of any product I've ever bought
I've only had this machine for a week, so this review will focus on the assembly - as a cross-trainer the machine seems to be performing fine with no issues.I consider myself fairly technical. I have a technical degree and work in technology. However constructing this machine was like playing three dimensional chess with no eyes or fingers. It took 30 mins just to remove from the packaging and lay out all the parts, which aren't labelled - a problem given that the plastic joint casings all look very alike. I was missing a few screws and washers but thankfully owned spares, however the real problem became apparent when I first opened the assembly guide. Try to imagine a quantum mechanics textbook printed semi-illegibly in size 5 font, layer on the odd Chinese character in lieu of an English one, and you'll understand why it took me 5 agonising hours to build this thing. There are entire steps missing in the manual, odd bits of kit you'll never need (just thrown in as a bonus to stump the poor fools faced with having to solve this megalomaniacal puzzle), and pictures that only show rough approximations of the components they're supposed to represent, evidently drawn by someone who'd never seen a cross trainer and without the faintest notion of what one does.In summary, I guess some customers might enjoy the process, much like other kinds of 'customer' might pay to be repeatedly hit by a wooden paddle. I didn't, and just wanted to build the machine I paid nearly 300 quid for without getting PTSD.Update: the machine itself seems great. Hence the 3 stars.

Great Trainer, but get your tool belt out!
I used to be a very fit person but due to knee injuries need low impact work outs, this works for me and my bad knees.I've been using this now for 3 weeks and have already noticed weight loss in the areas that matter, stomach and ass! This is without going crazy, a little nearly every day.My one bug about this is that it arrives in a zillion pieces...ok....but the instructions need a magnifying glass, I kid you not , I had to download a magnifier to my phone. What you can't see is the part number as it has a circle around the number, or it should be around, bad printing puts a line through the tiny number *sighs*.In summary, if you have the patience and know how to put mechanical stuff together then get this, the programs and trainer work well and is solid, it doesn't rock all over the place.Best of luck :)

AVOID. AMAZON UNHELPFUL. FAULTY PRODUCT.
Do not buy this product. (Ironically this review keeps getting rejected by amazon to appear on the product reviews).Arrived faulty with issues with resistance. Replacement unavailable as no stock left. Have to wait until next week to see if Reebok can repair? Youd expect a brand new piece of equipment to come without the need for repair. (The only positive I can say is we assembled it with no issues, instructions clear and parts clearly labelled). However, judging by previous reviews this is a common complaint. Amazon have been more than unhelpful with the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I spent 1.5hrs on the phone to repeat myself to various amazon employees, be told conflicting information from each employee and one even put the phone down on me. (Claimed to loose connection but I recieved no return phonecall as they said I would if they did loose connection). I then had to recall to be informed I have to wait 2 weeks for amazon to collect it again and then 5-7 days ontop of that for a refund. Oh, and I have to take back down the machine ive just spent assembling. If you value your time and sanity do not buy this product, especially not from amazon!

Smooth machine. Gives a workout as good as at the gym. Excellent value for money
I bought this (GX50 cross trainer) to replace my broken treadmill, first cross trainer I’ve purchased but I’ve used many at gyms. Really impressed with the smoothness and this gives a workout equal to a gym machineSetup - takes ages. Came in a 54kg box, extremely well packaged in styrofoam. The screws/hardware comes packaged and labelled so conveniently- see my pic, and each piece has its picture below in case you forget what you took out. All together took me about 3 hours, I missed a washer so that set me back about 20 minutes. The machine itself feels robust despite having a relatively small footprint. It’s wheel is 9kg and I’m glad I went for this model as I was going to get the 7kg less expensive model originally. I think it’s the weight that makes it such a smooth action. The stride is long enough for me (6’) and I doubt I’ll get to the highest resistance setting, there are loads. I am shocked at how quiet this machine is, you cannot hear it at all outside the room. I’ve had a treadmill at home for about 10 years and had to buy really expensive noise cancelling headphones to watch my tablet while running and it makes such a huge difference not having that noise. The only small downside is that the cord is really short and I cannot figure out a way to turn off the machine without unplugging it -**edit to add that the machine shuts off automatically so I don’t have to unplug it**Overall I am really pleased with this machine, for £399 it feels like it will last as long as my previous treadmill which was £800 and lasted 7 years. I would definitely recommend paying a bit more for the heavier wheel!
