Excellent IF it fits you
I changed all my footwear to the minimalist barefoot design. This one is more of a "sock" than a shoe. The advantage is that I feel the grooves on the ground, which I found interesting as opposed to shoes. Your taste may differ, but I use this to immerse myself in the walk or at the gym. It will look weird, however, when used normally in public places because it will look like you forgot to put your shoes on and just went with your socks :)Overall I would have given it a 5-star review, BUT I ordered the same thing for my wife, and there was an issue: the sizes offered are not comprehensive:- 38/39 was too big for my wife- 36/37 was too smallI was lucky with mine, which fit well, but unfortunately, my wife couldn't use them.I would advise the makers to add more sizes in between. Lumping them like this won't work for many people, and they'll lose a lot of customers and cause unnecessary returns.

Nice, Minimal, Not Too Practical
Because there is no strap going over the foot to keep it in place, the skinners tend to fold around your foot if you do any quick twisting movement, they may be good for barefoot running and basic weighting, but they are not stable and will keep moving around and folding with any twisting movement

Not bad
Its just like a sock with a sole added, is not as comfortable as we expected, I don't we can trekking in it , as stones can still hurt you , as the sole is soft. It's comfortable on flat surfaces.

Very bad
It's not worth the money as soon as I opened it from the package the rubber rocks started to come off it. It is uncomfortable to wear.

Authentic "Barefoot" Experience, Affordable Price
I was somewhat apprehensive about purchasing the Skinner 2.0 Sock Shoes, as I wasn't certain they'd be adequately durable, plus accurate sizing is always a concern with barefoot/minimalist products. However, these are the only barefoot foot covering in my experience that is true to size and gives total foot-feel of the surface. In fact, they fit so well, I don't even notice I'm wearing them.Traction is great, the fit feels secure, the seal between the stretchy upper and the ankle is good, and the removable insert allows for some breathability. However, your feet will still feel the heat when the mercury pushes towards 30ºC/90ºF (but what foot covering doesn't?).My intention when I purchased the Skinner 2.0 was to use them occasionally (e.g., at the beach, on grass, around the yard), but now they are my go to barefoot covering for all activities, even urban excursions. Overall, I have to say that they are the best product in the barefoot/minimalist category I've come across in a very long time....

Decent.... but not perfect
Really wanted to love these... I do like them, but let me share my thoughts. The Good:1. They're really nice for hiking/walking on certain terrain. Gives you a nice barefoot feeling and decent protection from stabby tree-roots and rocks.2. They are very easy to use in the water. Water drains out of them pretty well, so you can plunge in and out easily and they're easy to swim with. They are reasonably comfortable to wear when wet as well.3. They seem pretty durable. I've had them a few years... don't use them too often, but they're holding up well. The Bad.1. Sand tends to work its way into them pretty easily. They're a little difficult to turn inside out to clean, so it's a bit annoying... but not the end of the world.2. They're a little heavier than expected. A light pair of flip flops would actually be more lightweight.3. They take quite a while to dry. I use them for my canoe trips, where I'm hopping in and out of the water. They didn't dry completely between days.4. Mine got a bit of a smell after walking through some boggy areas... had to put them through the wash to get the smell out.... and even still, they have a weird odor to them... kinda like a chemical-rubber type smell.I love the idea of these. And in certain situations, they're awesome... I find myself reaching for a pair of flip flops or light shoes in most situations instead of these though.

Surprisingly comfortable! Great service too!
These are so comfortable. I’ve been using them for road running and they shield the soles from the hot surfaces very well, allow plenty of free movement and give a true barefoot feel.DISCLAIMER: I spend a lot of time barefoot and run high mileage in minimalist shoes. My feet are already well adapted to barefoot style running. If you’re not used to walking barefoot it’s worth noting that you’ll feel everything through them so keep this in mind if you’re on surfaces with small rocks, roots, loose gravel etc. if you have sensitive feet that are used to shoes all the time it will feel uncomfortable until you toughen up your feet. On sand, grass and “soft surfaces” you’ll be absolutely fine.SIZING: These are true to size. I’m on the smaller side of a medium and there’s a bit of space on the toes but they don’t slide or move. They are well fitted and comfortable on my foot. I also prefer to wear regular socks inside for sweat absolution. These socks are not particularly breathable like cotton socks - which is perfect because if they were porous I think fist and dirt would get taken in through the material a lot quicker. The good news is they wash well in the machine. Leave them to air dry and they’re good as new.DURABILITY: They are very well made. There are no loose threads or rough seams. I couldn’t find reviews for long distance running on hard surfaces so I guess I’ll be the guinea pig.So far I’ve logged about 200 miles in these, running mostly on concrete and asphalt with a small patch on grass and sand on my routes. I walk in them too, but I dint track walking distance so can’t give a number on that. There are no visible signs of wear to either the uppers or the soles. I anticipate I’ll easily surpass the manufacturers conservative estimate of circa 500 milesIf you’re using these for walking, around the house or in the gym you probably won’t be repacking them anytime soon. They really are well made.Just remember if you are reading somewhere where there is sharp debris like broken glass, tacks or anything you’d ordinarily step clear of in socks, the same applies here. The soles are surprisingly robust, but could be punctured just like a thin shoe sole. The delivery speed from this company is phenomenal! They come from Europe and mine arrived in three days - both times! (I ordered a second pair as backup since I use mine every day).

Rubber slijt snel af.
Fijn om op een warme dag te dragen om over het gras te lopen. Maar voor de rest niet. Gebruik ze niet om een ganse daag te dragen. Uw voeten zullen pijn doen. Stappen over keien puntige stenen is een no go. Zelfs niet met de inlegzool. Ik draag ze in mijn tuin tot ze versleten zijn. Maar voor andere activiteiten draag ik liever naar mijn bearfeet schoenen.
