I played this game for the first time at a party. We were $3 per person and ultimately playing for $15 each for the final game. We had about 15 people, so the pot was huge and the gameplay took forever. I would say it took an hour and 15 minutes to come up with a winner. It was very exciting and a lot of the players were already inebriated, which I think enhanced the game for some people. The game was easy to learn and the fact that no one is really out of the game until the finally roll is what made it appealing to most of the players. I know you could play this game with regular dice but really? Who wants to make it more complicated than it really is, just spend the $5 and buy this game. This game is definitely a keeper. Kids can play this game also. We use three 3 quarters and it's a great way to teach kids how to gamble. Just kidding. It's a great way to make it interesting. Sometimes we just use nickels. Just make sure there are no ringers when you play with high antes, this game is just for friends who want to be entertained while hanging out.

we enjoy playing and little gambling with our friends with this game. we play with dollars rather than chips

Great little game. This is the second set purchased. It's loved by all ages and gets everyone involved in the fun. It's small enough to store in a drawer or throw in a suitcase for a quick game anywhere!
