does this reduce the thermal efficiency of the stove?

In my experience it does not effect the thermal efficiency of the stove, it does what it's designed to do and that is to dampen down the noise of the stove, which it does very well.

Some what confused on fuels. Yes or No, will it work with unleaded Gasoline?

All I can tell you is I have the Quietstove model 107 V2 for my MSR Dragonfly stove and I've always used regular unleaded gasoline becuase it's cheap and readily available. It works fine for me. There may be some issue over time with carbon residue, but I figure I can just clean the burner if that happens. So far it hasn't been an issue.

Is white gas the same with lighter fluid?

No. Lighter fluid is not White Gas. White Gas is also known as "Coleman Fuel."

How can i install the svea 123/123r head on it i couldn't figure it out?

It just sits on top. There is nothing to install
