*UPDATE: AQool contacted me quickly after leaving the initial review. Very quickly replaced the unit, and it's worked perfectly since!! Excellent customer service! *END UPDATE I initially liked this light. Played with the colors and features, adjusted the focus to go from sharp to soft. After no more than five minutes, it quit working. No response from the remote, unplugged the light and waited a few minutes, then plugged it back in. Same issue. The light does nothing but flash green once every 5 seconds or so.

Very well made. I use it just what it said it was for, a mirror ball. The effect is just what I wanted.

The LED light is not bright enough for long range use. If you are more than about ten feet (about 3m) away it will not be bright enough when pointed at the mirror ball to make a great effect. Closer it works very well. We used them from longer range and added our follow spot to give us multiple colors and a variety of bright and not so bright reflections. Worked well. The housing is a strong plastic (ABS is my guess) and survived months of high school kids setting up the lights, dropping them, banging them around in the storage. no regrets in buying them, just wished for an even brighter LED or a longer-range focusing ring to help.

This is a great light to light up a disco ball. It's almost club level lighting. I love the remote control so I can change colors and patterns of the light. The bracket that holds the light so you can adjust it up and down really sucks but it is an easy fix if you buy a screw with a butterfly bolt to hold it tightly. It is very lightweight and looks good too. Good value for the money.

Product definitely works a discribed. Not bright enough for signal lamp use.

I have never been so happy with a product in Amazon. I've had two of them for over two years. They now project the mirror ball hanging on the cottage I moved into three months ago...IN THE RAIN,any days! They stull kick butt. Being a professional club DJ, these lights are well worth the money. Just bought two more.

This spotlight stopped working after 3 months. It is unclear what is wrong with it as it won't turn on even after replacing the remote battery and plugging it into several other electrical sockets. It just seems to be low quality.

Seriously, this this is great. You can turn the adjuster to bring the beam to just the same diameter as the disco ball so you don't get any light bleed behind it. As you can see from the video, even with lots of house lights on you get a really great scatter off the ball from it. :]

After a few months, one light was faulty, and I tried to contact the vendor through Amazon‘s messaging without success however, after sending an email to the company support address, they replaced the unit immediately

It really made a big difference on the disco ball.

I bought this spotlight to light up the area where my golf ball sits in my golf simulator in my garage. It's simple, but didn't quite do the trick. I'm giving it four stars because it does what it's supposed to do -- but it's a little too simple and I couldn't make any adjustments to make it work.
