Well. I bought this having tried several other products to remove a large rectangle of double sided sticky tape left behind on my front door, but without success (the door is upvc FYI). If you’re in the camp of people who love the smell of petrol/marker pens/nail varnish remover etc, then you’ll love the smell of this - I’m not in that camp, so found it unpleasant. The strength of the odour actually gave me a bit of a headache so I’d wear a mask another time. Anyway, we aren’t buying it for its fragrant qualities, are we?! Onto the effectiveness. It works. Plain and simple. It removed this ugly rectangle of residual glue with minimal effort. I used a dry kitchen cloth (one you might use to wipe your sides down) and put the solvent directly onto it. The solvent is clear and about the same consistency as water so it’s very runny. I gave the glue a soak by dabbing it on, initially, then with a good rub, the glue started to come away with the second application. I would recommend wearing rubber gloves when using. WARNING: use a cloth you’re willing to throw away after. I made the fatal mistake of putting the cloth into a wash with other whites (so 60 degrees) and it made the entire wash reek of the solvent. It literally contaminated everything. After another three washes the smell had lessened, but not gone! Overall, I’d recommend this for sticker/glue removal - it’s very effective - but please bear in mind my errors and avoid them yourself!

Great product for removing sticky labels. Had new French doors covered in stickers that wouldn't peel off and where it did come off left sticky glue behind. This solution is thin like water consistency but heavy solvent scent similar to paint thinner. I used a half inch cutting in paint brush which just fitted in the neck of the bottle to paint the solution onto the stickers and qas straight forward to apply. Painted it on the stickers left for a few mins and then re-applied like the instructions stated. Left them for around 20 to 30 mins and I found that the stickers sort of 'wilted' they had curled up and come away from the upvc around all.edges and the white stickers had turned light brown. I found that the stickers just come off with ease when lifting them off. The stickers became sort of like bits.of baking paper is the only way to describe it. Found that 95% of glue residue came off with the stickers and for any residue left I just painted some of the solution onto those spots and they wiped off after minute. Great stuff well worth the money and comes in a good sized bottle with a security cap fitting. Also used it to remove the glue left behind from expanding foam to seal window gaps that I had scraped back but it had left an adhesive mark on the plastic. Always found this tricky to get off but this solution worked great and softened the adhesive so it just wiped off. Will definitely buy this again once I use this bottle up.

Great product. It does have a strong smell so please vent the room you use this product. You will have to use a lot of the strong glue the scrap off but works well

Worked super well on the window stickers as we had new window and the stickers came right off with this stuff . Also used it on my door also to get off the grime and sticky marks from sticking birthday banners up with tape and other things. Would highly Recommend this product
