Still working years later, and that says more than a first-week review ever could 🔌💡
Here’s a version that includes the Vine point without making it sound defensive or odd. I softened “wasting my time” into “choosing to spend time,” which keeps the same point but reads better. 🔌 I bought this Sabrent USB hub back in May 2021, with my own money, and I’m writing this review years later because it still works. That alone is probably the most meaningful thing I can say about it. A USB hub is not the kind of product that usually inspires reflection. It is supposed to be boring. It is supposed to sit on a desk, connect things, power things, survive being moved around, and quietly disappear into the background. The best version of a product like this is one you stop thinking about because it simply keeps doing its job. That is what this one has done. The ports still work. The individual power switches still work. The LED indicators still light up. The cable has held up. I have used it casually for years, plugged things in and out of it, moved it around, and never treated it like some delicate premium accessory. It just kept functioning. The individual switches are more useful than they may seem at first. Being able to turn off a single device without unplugging the whole hub is genuinely convenient, especially for accessories, card readers, controllers, lights, or anything else you do not need powered constantly. I also normally would not mention Vine in a review, but in this case it feels relevant because this is not a Vine item. I paid for it myself in 2021. I already write plenty of Vine reviews, so there is no real incentive for me to come back years later and spend time reviewing a basic USB hub unless it actually earned that review. And that is really the point. Some products impress you immediately, and some products prove themselves by lasting long enough that you realize they were better than you gave them credit for. This is one of the second kind. It is simple, practical, reliable, and still working years later. For a small tech accessory, that is about as strong a recommendation as I can give.

Longer cords to connect to raised laptop on a computer stand. HDMI port works flawlessly.
Great product. Works really well, very lightweight, does not overheat and the cord is long enough to connect to my laptop that sits on a computer stand 4" high, so it's not dangling on the side. Sometimes the USB port with the connected mouse would stop responding - I would have to unplug and then plug it in again for it to work. I also use the HDMI port to connect an external monitor to my laptop. Its one single USB-C port used to connect all my external monitor, mouse and keyboard to my laptop for easy unplug and travel. So with that said, it deserves 5 star for the features and it's price point. Note, I did not connect an external power supply to it as I do not use it to charge my laptop.

Still Working Great After 5 Years
I’ve been using this USB hub for about 5 years, and it has been extremely helpful. It works exactly as expected and makes it easy to connect multiple devices at the same time. The individual switches are a great feature, and everything still works perfectly after years of use. Reliable, convenient, and definitely worth the money. Highly recommended!

Great, simple, effective, portable
This review is for: SABRENT 4-Port USB 3.0 Hub with Individual LED Power Switches - Slim, Portable Design I wish there was [also] at least one USB-C connection, however the four USB-A connections work great. I have not yet verified the actual advertised "USB 3.0" transfer speed capabilities and real-world results. I am using this for USB keyboard, mouse, and YubiKeys. No issues thus far. I like that you can use the individual switches to turn off/disable any (or all) of the four USB devices. For SABRENT: A nice enhancement to this would be to have the LED colors change when any of the buttons are on or off, so it is easier to visually see which are active or not. the constant blue can be hard to distinguish because the light bleeds to the other buttons even if one is in off position. ~humanly reviewed and written

Excellent hub that works with Macs & audio interfaces without additional external power
If you work with audio you know that using a hub with DACs and audio interfaces can be hit or miss; the SABRENT USB C Hub 5-in-1 Docking Station hit it out of the park. This is an excellent, reliable hub that works with not just one but two digital audio interfaces connected to my 13" M4 MacBook Air which provides it with more than enough power without having to plug it into yet another charger and AC outlet.. For hi-fi listening one USB-C to USB-B cable goes to my Topping E30II DAC, then for mixing Tractor Pro with DVS, another USB-C to USB-B cable goes to my Allen & Heath PX5. This hub is solidly constructed out of aluminum. All the ports fit every cable snugly. One side of the of the hub is blank which allowed me to affix a small rectangle of Velcro to it to mount it to the underside of my DJ mixer laptop stand which keeps my setup looking neat and tidy. The LED around the power button is a pleasing bright blue that actually provides a tiny bit of illumination over my mixer in a pitch black room. The button itself has a tactile feel that feels good. The hub is lightweight but does not feel cheap. I took a chance with Sabrent for the first time 4 years ago with one of their Sabrent M.2 SSDs and it's been fast and reliable since day one so I was confident this hub would work out of the box as well, and it did. Highly recommended, especially for your Mac and your DAW.

Compact, Fast, and Rock-Solid USB-C Hub
This Sabrent USB-C hub has been excellent so far. It’s compact but very powerful, and everything works exactly as advertised. The 10Gbps USB-A and USB-C ports are noticeably fast for data transfers, and the 4K HDMI output connects instantly to my monitor with no flickering or signal issues. Power delivery is another big plus. Being able to pass through up to 100W while still using multiple devices makes this perfect for a laptop setup, and my devices charge reliably without overheating. The aluminum build feels sturdy and premium, and it stays cool even during longer use. I’ve used this with a laptop, tablet, and phone, and it’s been completely plug-and-play with no drivers needed. Overall, it’s a great balance of performance, size, and build quality. Highly recommend if you want a dependable USB-C hub without the bulk of a full docking station.

Great product
Great value. High quality miniature unit, aluminum case, runs very cool, all ports work flawlessly. Connectors are properly snug. It has a 2-foot cord. It has an on-off switch with status light. On my computer, (Dell laptop w/ thunderbolt 4 port) the unit will stay powered up when the computer is down. It draws negligible power (my computer still shows100% charge after shutting down for an evening). This is convenient, as I use the hub with a remote cable under a sofa, and I do not have to switch it back on when I power up.

Really Excellent Product!
Unlike USB 3.0 hubs I've tried in the past, this one works very well. I bought 2 of these hubs, and I've got one plugged into the other, effectively giving me an additional 7 free USB 3.0 ports. To my surprise, it appears that the data transfer rate is not impacted by this configuration. Transfers are fast and reliable. I've copied several terabytes from one external drive to another, both of which were connected via the Sabrent USB hubs, without a single hiccup. I also tried a test case wherein I had 3 separate large file copies in progress, at the same time, between 3 different external drives, and everything worked! Of course, the transfer rate for each individual copy was slower, but, in the aggregate, the USB 3.0 data rate was maintained. I really, really like the individual buttons for each USB input port which allow me to selectively enable/disable inputs - the buttons were a key reason I went with this Sabrent model. So, for example, I have 4 external drives hooked up to one Sabrent hub, but I only want to "bring online" the particular drive(s) which I need at the moment. I'm using WD 8TB MyBook external drives which automatically power down when they detect no connection on the USB 3.0 port, so I save power (and wear and tear) on the drives I'm not actively using, and I avoid the clutter and confusion of mounting unneeded drives. One final note on my configuration: As I mentioned, I have one of these hubs (call it the "slave hub") plugged into a second hub (call it the "master hub"). Plugged into the slave hub, I have 4 self-powered WD 8TB MyBook external drives which I selectively enable/disable according to my needs at the moment. (BTW, works fine if I enable all 4 at the same time!) In the master hub, this leaves me 3 free USB 3.0 ports (recall that the slave hub uses up the 4th port). Anyhow, for good measure, I'm using a Sabrent 2.5A power supply to provide power to the master hub, just in case I want to plug in devices which are not self-powered. I should hasten to add that, even without power supplied to the master hub, testing shows that I can successfully plug in at least one WD portable (non-self-powered) 4TB drive. However, I decided to go with a powered hub in case I ever want to plug in multiple non-self-powered USB devices. Note that you can order the Sabrent 4-port USB 3.0 hub with and without the little power supply. Overall, I'm exceedingly pleased with this product. Nicely made, very attractive and low-profile, and, best of all, it works really well. I will be purchasing an additional one of these for my other laptop.

Great M2 ssd enclosure with hub
Two things in one with Sargent quality. The m2 enclosure is easy to use and easy to fit. And then the usbc speed as well as adding additional usb a connections is great.
