1/2" M/F Tee Ball Valve, 1/4" OD Comp Outlet Adapter

This works for my water filter setup because I have a kitchen sink 'shower' faucet with a momentary OFF feature. I can turn on the cold water with my left hand, turn on the diverter valve, and it sends ~50% of the flow to my filters. I can then squeeze my momentary off faucet to send 100% of the flow to my filters and fill the glass in my right hand with filtered water. It only wastes a wee bit of water when starting and stopping. Too much trouble to return it, so it is what it is.

I like the fact that it is NOT a Saddle Valve. Pretty much all water filter/refrigerator ice maker water line kits (including the one that I ordered from Amazon) include a Saddle Valve. So why would you buy another water valve? Actually there are many compelling reasons. • In my case, I am a renter and I would have to opened up the wall under the sink to access the copper water pipe because the cold water supply valve is flush with the wall. • I was uncomfortable with the idea of piercing the cold water pipe anyway. Just seems like it is inviting a water leak/flood and the attendant water damage with possible mold/fungus requiring professional "remediation". • What I wasn't aware of, is that with a zinc coated steel clamp and brass valve body along with the copper water pipe a physical/chemical reaction called "electrolysis" causes the copper water pipe to corrode from a kind of "green cancer". Even if you didn't experience a leak at the time of installation, eventually a leak is guaranteed! • I also didn't know that Saddle Valves are a violation of the Plumbing Code in most states and that will hold up your building/remodel permit in most municipalities.

Item isn’t as described . Leaks really bad and the 1/4 fitting isn’t a 1/4 . It’s way smaller . Waste of money

It fits very well and it's doing job nicely. It was better if it comes with rubber gasket.

This is the perfect unconventional solution that isn’t found in most hardware stores! I needed a temporary way to connect my RO water filtration to my sink. Installation was easy and item works perfectly as intended! Just to be safe, everything was sealed with Teflon tape at installation. 4 months in, I’m still very happy with this purchase!

I bought this to replace the cheap valve that was included in an RO filtration system. This one seems to be much better constructed, and after spending hours trying to get the old one to connect without leaking, once this arrived, I had it installed and working in less than 5 minutes. I recommend this product!

Item not as described. The "tap" only works to turn the small attachment on and off, the other parts go right through and the sizing is wrong, we need to buy yet another piece to actually make it fit the faucet AND a cap for one side to try and work around the useless tap. Not happy Also does not come with plumbers tape as indicated in the photo

Fitted as a go between my bath, RO unit and shower. But unfortunately when on the RO setting, the shower is still on, causing extra water loss. So over all a bit useless.
