Does anyone know how to remove the white plastic cap attached to the lightbulb (after you unscrew the gold top)?

Use a knife pop it out then fill. Makes great party favors

Yes it actually does screw into a standard base light socket. The removable, threaded gold color cap is plastic.

Can you fit say a Hershey kiss in here is the hole large enough ?

I don't think a Hershey kiss will fit through the opening. We used M&Ms, and they just barely made it through.

I don't know what BPA mean but these lights bulbs made great party favors. Hope this helps
