They also show a huge range of styles, encouraging people who don’t draw ‘conventionally’ to draw in a way that suits them. These books are good at breaking things down to the basic building blocks of art. I didn’t find that much overlap in them, I think a master book containing all of the series would be a cool idea if it wasn’t overpriced. Maybe for beginners without other people around it can be daunting to just pick up a pencil or other medium and start drawing. The 5 min sketching is good to get going and to quell your inner critic. Just draw!
