Easy to use and strains yogurt well.
I use this for straining Greek yogurt. It does a good job and is easy to clean and dry. So much better than using cheese cloth. Seems a bit pricey for a fairly simple product, but it works well so I'm okay with that. The whey is clear with no yogurt getting through the mesh. I'm using an Instant Pot, making about 4 litres per batch.

Perfect product!
If you are making a gallon of Greek yogurt at a time, this is the bag you want. I waited weeks to purchase it, making do with either an inconveniently shaped nut milk bag or some cheesecloth. I strained my first gallon batch of yogurt since purchasing this last night, and it was so much more convenient. Perfect shape to line the random colander I already had on hand, which I place in an old stainless Tramontina mixing bowl for draining. As previous reviews mentioned, the whole gallon of yogurt fit in the bag, but I had to drain for about 5 minutes before I could cinch it closed. Once I cinched it closed, I let it sit for a while longer, then switched to hanging it to drain. This was easier to maneuver, strained faster, and the cleanup was easier than the nut milk bag or cheesecloth I've been using. I will not go back -- this is the perfect product for straining a gallon of Greek yogurt. The Euro Cuisine strainers aren't appealing to me since they only hold a half gallon at a time, and so I'm happy with this cheaper, well-constructed, effective solution.I was not compensated for purchasing or reviewing this product -- I saw it mentioned by a blogger (also not compensated for using the product) who recommended it highly, and I'm here to confirm it's a great purchase.UPDATE 9/30/19: I just bought my second of these after giving mine to my mother, who now makes her own yogurt, too. The first one was still going strong, with just a small bit of wear to one small section of one row of the double row of stitching, after weekly use since the spring. I haven't compared the new one side by side, but I think the stitching is better on this one, and I've already used it a few times. Can't say enough about this little tool!

Perfect yogurt every time
Highly recommend this strainer pouch. It comes with it's own little zip storage pocket so you can keep it clean between uses. I like this nylon type because it dries quick, less chance of mould forming in the material especially with all the different changes in weather.Having this strainer makes yogurt making so much easier. It fits around my large colander and pulls tight around the top to secure it in place while it does it's thing overnight. It fits around any bowl or colander up to 27cm in diameter and I use 2 litres of milk to make mine which it holds no problem at all. After its all strained, the yogurt is super creamy and has no grittyness to it at all (which I previously had before getting this pouch).Clean up is super easy too, just wash, rinse, air dry then pop it back in its own zip lock bag. Also don't forget to buy a fragrance free dishwashing liquid to wash the strainer pouch in (if you haven't already got some). You'll need it so your yogurt doesn't take on any smell from the strainer.

One of the most effective solutions for making greek yogurt at home
For years we only made regular—rather than greek—yogurt at home because the process was pleasant. The added step of draining the whey from the yogurt with cheesecloth was messy and UN-pleasant.Kleynhuis’ yogurt strainer takes the mess and kludgy-ness out of making greek yogurt. The pouch fits perfectly over a gallon-size stainless colander, works as effectively as cheesecloth, but is more durable and more easy to clean. The only reason I can imagine for why a pouch like this is a new innovation rather than something which has been around for ages would be due to all the odd advice offered on the Internet for how to make yogurt via any number of overcomplicated methods. We personally favor simplifying processes down to their essential components and steps. This pouch engenders additional simplification in making greek yogurt at home.Recommended.
