Trimaco49990 Easy Masking Film, 90 Ft L W, 0.5 Mil T, 99" X 90', Clear

This was my first time using a masking film and I was blown away. It much more than exceeded my expectations. The film is light but suprisingly strong. What truely surprised me was how easy it was to work with. The way it clings alowed me to mask 18' walls with a single sheet of film by myself. I am a diy homeowner not a professional painter. At 70 years old I have done my share of painting. If you have large areas to mask, this film delivers. Would I buy it again? I did.

This worked very well. We used it to cover window openings and doors when we painted the ceilings using a paint sprayer. It kept out the "paint dust." Even though we used some painters tape to adhere it, it sticks well to most surfaces.

-/+ A little cheaper price than retail when bought a couple of months ago. The brand is good in that the plastic is a little thicker than the 3m in the same size. But because its Thicker it doesnt tear easily by hand and it gets messy without scissor.-i wish these masking products had tints to them because it would make it easier to tape them down.-I don't know where these rolls are stored but came with static, a little more than with the 3m brand I got before. When trying to seperate there was signficant more clinging to itself making it bothersome at times to tape.

Great product and idea.Needed to prep home for painting and had tape in one hand.. standard plastic covering in the other.Up on a ladder two stories up and here comes the wind. Lets just say.. I dropped the tape, had to climb down the ladder and start all over again.With this product... One hand has the film, the other has the ladder!The cling feature works on my vinyl windows and made prep work much easier.Removal was great.. peel and go. With tape.. I had some scrapping to do as the sun baked the glue of the tape.PRO:Easy install as it clings quicklyCON:Outer edges still need some tapering or additional covering to ensure no seepage of paint.My windows are recessed so I just covered the whole frame to make painting easier.Summary:Great product, will buy again.

Makes covering cabinets and other things easy and fast. Easy to remove yet stayed up until I needed to clean up. Not sure why they ask for a thickness rating as it's supposed to be thin and lightweight. Wish there was a way to recycle it

We used this to protect the counters and cabinets while removing old tile - a very duty job. The film went up easily and protected the material behind it from the dust. It was not perfect nothing will stop all of that dust but well worth the time and money.

It was exactly what we needed and worked great.
