It won't blend in to a galvanized surface and look good. It is designed to be used to cover welds and repairs in items that have been galvanized. It is great for preventing rust, but won't blend into the surface of the table top. It will look like a large area of off color once the paint dries. **Q: So I assume that the galvanized is not the color of the paint and it is real galvanized.** A: It's a darkish gray and is real zinc **Q: Is it paintable? Because on the can theres no bullet point that is claimed, "paitable". CRC sticks very well and even does well over rust. Rustoleum is half the price and about 25% as good because it just flakes off. It spays on nicely and sticks to the surface well. It doesn't rub or flake off when touched either.
