I ordered these based on the number of positive product reviews although now, as I read them again, I note that many of the reviewers received special considerations. These are nice looking tweezers but, really, tweezers should be judged on their ability to secure something, usually a hair, and pull it. Time and time again I clamped with significant pressure on a hair shaft and time and time again, I pulled and the hair remained. I couldn't figure it out until I used a magnifier to examine the inside of the tip. As can be seen by the picture, the inside of these tweezer tips are very rough. Depending on the tweezers they send you, you may be able to pull a hair and you may not be able to pull a hair. It all depends on where the ridges run on your particular set. This problem could have been avoided if the manufacturer would have just polished the inner blades so that they were smooth. I plan on keeping mine as they are cheap and will help with manipulating wires in electronics endeavors but I will seek out a much more precise device for personal care. ### ⭐ They suck bad. *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on November 30, 2016* I know it's always been hard to find tweezers that work well. I must have the worst luck in finding tweezers that work for me. I've got a pair of black revlon tweezers that I've had for over 20 yrs they have been wonderful. I've yet to find tweezers that compare or let alone come close to the pair that I've had forever. Well I read the reviews on this one and took a chance. Needless to say I have thrown away all my tweezers and this one took their place. It tweezes even the smallest eyebrow hair. These tweezers are AWESOME. Very easy to use.
