I was suffering from protein sensitivity a few weeks ago. I tried to remove all hair care production with protein from my routine so that I could restore the protein/moisture balance in my hair. After aimlessly searching for natural, protein-free products, I found Urban Hydration on a curly hair blogger's post. I bought the shampoo, deep conditioner, and this styler. The shampoo has a very light smell(great for my sensitive skin) and lathers well. After I wash with it, my hair feels clean but not stripped. The conditioner is not a typical conditioner that gives a lot of slip, but it has enough slip for me to detangle. It also has a light smell. The styler is BOMB. The consistency is a bit medium to thick, but when I apply it to my wet or damp 3b/4a curls, it applies thinly. It def hydrates my curls and defines them well with a medium hold. It is a bit similar to Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie, but the difference is it doesn't have that heavy feeling in your hair. My curls are light and bouncy. This product seems excellent for the winter. I was shook at how quick my hair bounced back after my horrible protein sensitivity situation. All three products work very well together. I am very pleased with my purchase!!!

it works great. My sister in law recommended to me and I am loving it! Not too heavy and easy to use. I dont use any styling products on my hair so my mixed kids hair adventure is always new to me as they grow their hair grow differently. I will keep using this product.

It's light, doesn't leave my hair crunchy, I have fine, medium wavy hair. I only use about 1/2 tsp on towel dried haie, I use a couple of drops of water in my hands to thin the product so it goes on evenly.

Excellent customer service. I am disappointed that the product description did not list the shea and avocado oil which I am allergic to.

I bought this for my 16 yo daughter and she broke out all over. Her scalp became blistered and she developed a reaction to the products. Unsure why this happened since this is same products she has used previously.
