Peaky Blinders: Season Two

This is just one more coup for the Brits. The acting (Cillian Murphy is perfect), sets, story, etc., make a very compelling series. After the second episode in Season 1, I was totally hooked. Now, what I want to know is where the blazes is the DVD for Season 3 for the US? A DVD for Season 3 that will play on a normal DVD player in the United States would be nice thank you very much. Filming for Season 4 is already underway, so for pete's sake, get the DVD for Season 3 to those of us breathlessly waiting its arrival.

this is one of my all time favorite shows. the characters will make you like them... the drama will pull you in... a friend who lives in the UK recommended it to me... I bought season one and it sat on my shelf for a while.. once I started watching I was hooked and I am not easily won over... Cillian is extremely strong. he could probably carry the series by himself but the cast does not have a weak link.. the show is simply off the charts good even if you aren't into crime drama .. if I could give it 10 stars I would

Every bit as good as the Sopranos, The Wire and Breaking Bad.

Gust as good as Boardwalk by HBO. Or even better. Great cast and tell the story of a Irish gang after WW1. Cillian is a fantastic actor and leads cast in to some very good written stories. Even get to See Tom Hardy in a small role

Lots of surprises and action

Started watching this after Taboo ended and glad I did...another great period piece from Stephen Knight (creator/writer)...lots of great music, exceptional attention to detail, and a rarely seen era (polar opposite of Downton Abbey). Birmingham is the gritty, dark setting rather than London, but when London is shown be prepared for Tom Hardy to totally steal the show - he is brilliant as usual (wish he was featured more). Cillian Murphy is great, but my favorite character is Arthur Shelby (played by Paul Anderson...definitely one to watch). I intended to slowly watch this but devoured in about a week. Wish Season 3 DVD was available in the States but I was able to get caught up with Netflix so now I'm waiting for BOTH Taboo and Pesky Blinders lol!

The series is fantastic. The "only 4 star review" is on Amazon for not giving any info about stocking following seasons. As a customer I want to know any info they can give on availability of subsequent seasons. Other stores have Season 3. Where is Amazon's for range 1??? This holds true for many of the miniseries. Am I missing something?

SeAson Two cements this period piece BBC series' reputation in the rarified stratosphere of timeless gems. The story tightens and gets better and deeper. The addition of Tom Hardy and his wife complements and enhances an already stellar cast. This show and this season both rock.

Le scénario, complexe à souhait, est d'autant plus intéressant qu'il se dessine sur un arrière plan historique très fouillé (les conséquences de la première guerre mondiale sur les hommes et sur l'économie, les "rebelles" irlandais, la politique de Churchill). Tous les personnages sont attachants, admirablement construits et interprétés par des comédiens excellentissimes. Que dire de l'esthétique ( éclairages, ralentis, contre- plongées)? C'est du grand cinéma! Quant au montage, c'est absolument fantastique! On est surpris, emporté, séduit. Les dialogues sont à la mesure des images et des plans: ils sont nets, incisifs et très efficaces. La version française est de grande qualité. Le comédien qui double Tommy a une voix qui ajoute encore au charme sulfureux du comédien anglais Cillian Murphy, dont le jeu sobre, tout en retenue, est tout simplement extraordinaire. On se prend à la fin de la saison 2 à espérer que ce héros ne meure pas...pour qu'il y ait au moins encore une saison 3

Brilliant script...!... The characters have many facits and the actors really take on the personnas. The depth that which the cast portray the emotions of the characters is unbelievable, they embody the souls of each one. This series is one of the finest pieces of television we have ever watched.

I have Watched Season 1-3. It is a really good TV series. It is Violent so if you have a weak stomach I would not recommends. I bought this a gift

l'histoire des "PEAKY BLINDERS" à reprpit vie grace aux souvenirs de"Steven Knight" qui grâces à de nombreuses histoires plus vrais les une que les autres ainsi que ces nombreux souvenirs d'enfance, Steve Knight à réussit à redonner vue à toute la beauté de ces petit gens du peuples revenus pour la plus part au début des année 1900 des tranchées Française OK ils avaient très taud côtoyer le pires des horreures. En plus dans faire une immense serie hommage en fait par la même occasion une serie historique exceptionnel. Si vous desirez tout savoir sur les pourquois et les comment de l'histoire et l'authenticité de cette série je vous conseil de lire "BY ORDER OF THE PEAKY BLINDERS" des éditions LAROUSSE. Qui grace au souvenirs d'un enfant aura permit de sauver les valeurs de ces hommes et ces femmes, représentant l'authentique classe ouvrière Anglaise du début des années 1900. Authentique,Extraordinaire,Historique et tout simplement Magistrale.

Une série tout simplement géniale qui raconte la vie d' un gang de Birmingham après la première guerre mondiale. Des décors et des costumes magnifiques. Des acteurs brillants avec des scenario palpitants et très accrocheurs. Enfin bref j' adore 😃
