Bought for my class so that they can write on black backing paper, when mounting up their art work. They write well on dark backgrounds and stands out well. Must be good as kids keep pinching them!

I was told about gel pens. They have many uses but I use them when sketching. The gel is very white. I use it to hide ink marks made in error. Stroke the gel pen over & it hides the black mark. I also use it to neaten edges where I might have smudged. The gel dries white, the colour of your paper. Don't use it thickly ie going over & over the line or it will show. The down side is, they can be very reluctant to work. I don't know the secret, sometimes it works, sometimes it won't. I have on times, thought it had run out & tried another. It's hard to tell. If they have run out, then there's not much gel in each pen. They are seethrough, but it's still hard to tell if they're empty. They come in packs of 6 & for this reason, you'll need them all

White gel pen that is ok but I would prefer a more constant flow. If you move it too quickly it stutters and on my brief use I sometimes get two parallel lines instead of one constant. It depends how you hold it I suppose.

White pencils, conte and paint have their place but if you just need to add a few highlights then these are great. I also used these with a group of disabled artists and they found that they run well and don't clog as much as others. Go for something a bit more robust if you're using on top of other mediums though.

meh..you get what you pay for they are a cheap price and their usage reflects this they are just a standard white marker nothing special but do work to an extent. don't expect them to last long if you use them contantly, i only got them for highlighting in small works so they are ok for that.
