Habe recherchiert und in einem Vergleich verschiedener Unterstellböcke auf Youtube die Big Red T43004 entdeckt. Nach dem ich diese gekauft und an meinem Auto getestet habe, habe ich gleich ein zweites Paar dazu bestellt. Mit den vier Unterstellböcken ist das Auto parallel zum Boden angehoben, dies benötigt man beim Wechsel von Flüssigkeiten. Die Qualität ist für den Zweck, Wartungen am Auto zu machen, sehr gut. Ich empfehle den Kauf der BIG RED T43004 Unterstellböcke. Die drei Tonnen beziehen sich auf zwei Unterstellböcke. Das heißt pro Unterstellbock hat man 1,5 Tonnen Traglast. Zu dem Material: Die Unterstellböcke werden als Aluminium Unterstellböcke verkauft. Es wird sich um ein hochfestes Aluminium handeln. Gewöhnliches Aluminium würde die Last eines Autos nicht tragen können. Ich kann allerdings nicht sagen um welche Sorte es sich handelt. Habe aber am Arbeitsplatz (in der Zerspanung von Metallen) mit solchen Aluminium Sorten zu tun gehabt. Vorteil: Diese haben manchmal eine bessere Zugfestigkeit als Stahl, machen einen qualitativ hochwertigen Eindruck und sind rostbeständig. Nachteil: Kosten im Vergleich zu gewöhnlichen Stahl Unterstellböcken mehr Geld.

These are premium jack stands. There are multiple jack stands that you can buy for a lower cost, however, I am happy to pay the extra money in order to get these. There are several reasons to buy these jack stands over other types. 1. These are anodized aluminum jack stands so they will not rust. The anodization layer is thick, robust and looks very nice. 2. The aluminum in this part makes them lighter weight then steel jack stands. 3. The base of this jack stand is flat, which make it distribute the load over a larger surface, and will not create markings or divots in asphalt. 4. The shape of this jack stand also makes it easier to jack up the car on the pinch weld and put the jack stand on the pinch weld. Since the base is flat, my floor jack clears the base, and I can slide the base slightly under the floor jack making it easier to place the jack stand in the correct location on the pinch weld. I use this on my Ford focus which is a small compact car. On most small cars you need to use the pinch weld to jack up the car, you also need to use the pinch weld for the jack stands. Therefore, if your jack, or jack stand is too big, then you will not have enough room to jack up the car, and place the jack stands, because the jack will be in the way and there will be no room for jack stands. That is why it is important to match your cars weight, to the jack and jack stands, and not buy jack stand rated for 6 tons on a 3 ton car. The larger rated jack stands are much bigger. You should only use the recommended jack points found in your car manual. Using other parts of the vehicle, not recommended by the manufacture is unsafe and could damage the vehicle. These are well made quality jack stands, I have used them several times and they have proven to be stable and easy to use. They look really cool and I am confident they will maintain the appearance for a long time. I think buying jack stands is a one time purchase and will last a life time.
