Battery sold separately, heavy, overpriced
A bit overrated. My main complaint is that the battery and charger are sold separately, and with the battery attached, it weighs “a ton” !I’ve used a competitor Brad Nailer, which was cheaper than Ryobi. It came with a small, powerful, light weight battery. No recoil, no jamming, no need to oil.Although Ryobi is ok, it worth snooping around for other nailers, priced lower and as good, if not better.

Ryobi Nail gun
Fantastic tool wish I’d bought one years ago!Easy to use, easy to load nails, versatile and can get into corners relatively easily. Have used a Makita nailer and this one is more sturdy and clear misfires is so much simpler.Definitely worth buying the 16 gauge trarher than the 18. Totally recommend this tool it has saved hours of labour effort.

Made fitting skirting board so easy
I was umming and ahing about buying this. I didn't really have any specific tool range and this was my first cordless purchase so was essentially going to be locking myself into Ryobi tools with it.I'm glad I did buy it!Although it doesn't have some weight to it, it's not too heavy that using it becomes uncomfortable. It is quick, accurate and I experienced zero issued with it not driving nails in deep enough. With a 5amp battery this thing helped me do the skirting board in my living room, dining room and hall without need for a recharge. In fact, it still had an impressive amount of charge in the battery. So the nailer obviously using less power than I was expecting.Recommended.

It puts the nails in the wood
Can be fun to get the aim right and never uses the last 4 nails in a strip.Won't feed from partial strips so expect random nails here and there.Battery lasted the entire job, never noticed a loss of power even by the end of the day.
