I have used three darning feet for free motion quilting. The Singer foot broke in two weeks. The second didn't work smoothly. This one works perfectly. I have used it for two months and it's like new.

The first one I got lasted 2 years, which is amazing considering how much I use it. When the wire lifter broke, I bought a second. This one had some manufacturing flaw that made the spring stick in contraction, but the return process was as painless as could be (though the UPS driver stepped right over the package to stick the label on my door instead of taking the package *tantrum noises*). The replacement is working great. Overall an extremely good deal.

The attachment appears to be sturdy and well made. I have not used it for a project as yet. I would give it a 5 star rating except for the fact that it does not fit my low shank Janome--the machine for which I purchased it. However, it fits my old singer Featherweight machine.

When I purchased this item I was not sure if it will work. But, it really surprised me that it was so easy to attach to the machine, I dropped the feed dog on my 293B and I was on my way to do free motion quilting. The price was very reasonable and I am happy with the quality of this product.

This works perfectly well with my Singer Heavy Duty 4432. I just have to remove the foot, then the shank, and pop it on like any other darning foot. I've played around with it on a few pieces and have absolutely no complaints. As long as this is the style you're looking for (closed eye rather than a C-shaped foot) this should work fine.All darning feet attach in basically the same way, so if it's your first time using one just search it online and you can find plenty of instruction videos.It seems sturdy and I expect it to last for years, but will update if/when it fails me

There is a piece of heavy wire that extends out to the side. It prevented the presser foot from lowering completely, but once I managed to cut off the wire, it works well on my Singer 233.

This foot fit perfectly on my Singer machine and works beautifully so far. It’s easy to see the stitching since the foot is larger than my other free motion foot that I have for my heavier machine. Hopefully it will continue to work without a problem. Great value too.
