I have rimless glasses bought from Specsavers.The bridge had become very loose, I took them into Specsavers but they refused to repair them, saying that they are now 2 years old and cannot be repaired and the only option would be to buy a new pair. Well I took a chance with these plugs, spending £6 instead of around £300 on specs..It turned out that I only needed the smallest size (1.4mm) plug and it was a bit of a fiddly job - you press the plug into the lens, trim to level against the lens and then press the bridge into plug and squeeze with some pliers. The plug being a softish plastic will squeeze between the lens holes and the metal pins on the bridge and so keeps the bridge tightly in place. I messed up two plugs before succeeding with the third but there's loads in the pack so not a problem. Also you need a very sharp blade to trim the plug neatly so it's not that easy, but it's EASY ENOUGH and my glasses are fine again.Why do Specsavers say they can't do this type of repair? Is it because they are money-grabbing crooks? Some might say that this helps to explain why the owner Mary Perkins is a billionaire! - hmm, anyway try these plugs if you want to repair your rimless glasses, they worked for me.

Good selection of sizes ensured that one size was a perfect fit. After trimming to the correct length for my thickness of lens and squeezing the nose bridge in place with a suitably padded pliers, I effected a perfect repair of my rimless glasses at a very small fraction of the cost of getting talked into a new set of glasses at the opticians.
