Wilkinson SwordXtreme 3 For Men | Ultimate Comfort with Aloe Vera | 4 x Disposable Razors

I have only recently returned to shaving with these razors after recovering from an out of blue STROKE in December 2016 spending seven weeks in Hospital as a result thereof, and being converted to an electric shaver for convenience. Pleased to say have virtually fully recovered from that episode against all odds and Family being told at the time to be prepared for the worst.I was 81 years old in February!

I shave in the shower. One day I find my razor is gone... I immediately assigned guilt to my girlfriend, and assumed she had run off with it to the bath, to shave the unmentionables. By my accounting, it's all upside at this point, as shaving usually leads to other things... BUT NO. As my the search through the house in a wet towel continues, I go look in my 15 year-old son-in-law's shower, and there it was... My impromptu one-man search party in a wet towel became a rite of passage in many ways. I have the ceremonial honour of bestowing the little hooligan with his first razor. I can now dole these out like sweets at Halloween and keep the really good Gillette blades safely to myself.

Bought these while giving Gillette the middle finger, know I am late to the party but had to use up my stock of razors first (not going to throw away serviceable razors). I have been a lifetime customer of Gillette but no longer not after they decided to throw their hat into the ring with the hate filled man bashing lunatics.Good men don't like bad things and Gillette is a bad thing. As for these replacements they work just as well as the Gillette but the advantage they give a smooth, non-judgey, non-preachy shave so they win out over Gillette every time

Have wet shaved for over 50 years, except for the occasional periods I have tried electric razors. In recent years have shaved my head too. These razors are the best. Great value, good close and comfortable shave. Good on the neck area where I tend to have an issue with some blades giving me burns. Also, easy on the head. I can usually get 10 good shaves or more per unit.Did try Gillette sensitive but they tend to be more expensive, often difficult to get, and the strip falls off. Shave is not so comfortable either. Amazon price is good too, especially when price drops down to £4 per pack at times.

After using Gillette Mach 3 disposables and the Bic Flex 3 I decided to try these. I was really disappointed. Compared to the aforementioned these feel cheap and nasty. I shave my head every other day and am painfully aware of the need for a pivoting, flexing razor. So, I thought these should be ok as they have both. For some reason though, from the very first shave they were taking chunks out of my chin and when I used it on my head it clean took the skin of a bump in my scalp (see the picture). I won’t be buying these again.
