I have an Incra rule and I need 0.5mm graphite to fit in the holes. My 7mm doesn't even fit and these are over 2mm. **Q: Does this work on aluminum?** A: It marks the same as any lead pencil. You would have better luck getting the colored inserts/leads they will work better. Still not as good as a marker.
