Do not buy if you are buying it for soya bean sprouts!
In the pictures it looks perfectly fine and well drained but in fact the water stays on the tray so makes the beans rot and smell bad, it didn't work at all and I actually saw someone left the same kind of comments when I ordered it which I didn't think it would matter, but now I know it's a real problem and it's not useful for me at all. SO if you are buying it for soya beans sprouts, this item is not for you, I don't know if it works for other beans. Also I want to return this item the seller told me I have to return it as brand new in the original box which makes no sense cos how would I know if it works if I don't open it and try it? How could it be brand new in the original box, so I feel scammed.

It does the job. But not for beginners
The quality is just okay. I have been teething to sprout 3 different seeds in each tray. They have sprouted well.When I left them for few days more it started to mould.I used this in dishwasher. They are not damaged or out of shape.The colour of the walls changed after few uses.I have a complaint of water not draining well.It does the job and is good. But do not assume cool maintenance like I'll just drop the seeds and pour water twice a day. It's more than that.You need to soak seeds overnight before you put in this. Whenever you pour water you need to move it around and maker sure water drains down. After water drains you need to discard the excess water.

Reasonable Value for Money, Effective Sprouter
First of all, in spite of the drain siphons showing in the photographs (the red things in the photos), this sprouter doesn’t arrive with any. As a result, while using it, I had to use a toothpick to unclog the drains. I found that I could buy the siphons separately (from a different supplier), but between the extra cost of these, and the cheaper plastic feel of this model, I may as well have spent more on the better quality A Vogel sprouter.
