**Q: how do you decide which size fits the vitrectomy chair best?**
A: The 8" x 4" is the favorite size for all situations. The other 2 sizes work, but the 8" x 4" is ideal. Any of them are easy to adjust by just pointing the top mirror at whatever you want to see, and look down in the bottom mirror. If / as necessary prop the mirror at the correct angle with a pillow, book or box.

**Q: How do I read a book?**
A: You wouldn't need the mirror to read a book. You would simply place the book under face and read it with the eye that didn't have the surgery. If I am misunderstanding your question, please let me know.

Will work great to watch TV after upcoming eye surgery. Just had to lift up about an inch with a pad of paper to fit my TV screen. It is awful pricey thats why its only getting 3 stars, should only cost 1/2 as much as it does. But it will make head down recovery for the week or two a little more bearable.
