Solid lock, recommend.
If you are looking for a lightweight portable lock look no further. I would highly recommend this if you're looking for something to lock your bike in a safe area or just to use as a theft deterrent. These types of locks can easily be cut, but if you're just using it to grab lunch or a run to the store it should serve all of your needs. I personally would use a U lock if you're going to store your bike outside for extended periods of time.I tried to pick the lock, just to check the safety and I approve of it's ability to lock.Setting the combination was easy. For my needs (a bike to the store or grabbing a bite to eat) it works perfect. Would buy again! My Amazon Review Criteria:5 Star: I got what I expected from the product and it was/worked better than expected. If you are considering a purchase, buy it. Would buy it again, I highly recommend.4 Star: I got what I expected from the product and that is all. It just works. Still recommend the Item, probably hard to find a better product than this. Would buy again, I highly recommend.3 Star: I got what I expected from the product most of the time. Has a few problems but it can be overlooked. Might buy the product again, but will look for other alternatives as well. I recommend the product, there might be better alternatives.2 Star: I barely got what I expected from the product. Has many problems, product is bad. Would not buy again. I do not recommend buying this product unless there are no other alternatives.1 Star: I never got what I expected from the product. Would not buy the product again, requested a refund or returned the product. (This is very rare for me.) I do not recommend buying this product whatsoever.Note: I did NOT receive any incentive buying or reviewing this product. I want people to find products they like and will use.

Great product, great support!
Very happy with the product. I bought it to primarily secure my wife's and my bike when I don't need to use my heavy duty Kryptonite locks. The latter are really heavy to tote around when not needed. So when we stop at a restaurant in a fairly public area or want to take a break and walk around an area I will on using these. I doubt I would use them in unlighted low traffic areas, but then again even the Kryptonites are at tisk under these conditions. The Ushakes seem pretty well put together, with a rugged lock mechanism. I also like that the fact that the combination wheels are fairly large and can be easily manipulated. The cable itself is fairly pliable so it makes it easy to maneuver around the bikes. It weighs slightly over a pound whereas the K's are almost 3+ lbs., this make a big difference on the bike. I was not able to use the plastic carrying clamp provided to attach to the bike but this is because I have a pannier mounted over the rear wheel so there just is not enough room. This is not a Ushake problem, so no stars lost there. I instead thread a couple of loops of the cable through the frame underpinning my saddle and lock the cable, which works great - it's out of the way and I'll never lose it.The folks at Ushake really understand customer service! I screwed up my initial setting of the combination and in a panic sent off an email, which they replied to within a couple of hours. I had figured out my issue so didn't need assistance at that point but it was good to know they were there if help is needed. Nice job, guys!

I'm done - I have been through several of these now.
These are so easy to set your combination, they are the perfect length, they coil up easy. They work awesome. For a couple weeks. Eventually, the little "set-ring" that you twist to lock your combination in after you program it... will work itself loose, and you won't realize it until suddenly your lock just won't lock anymore (as it it won't connect to itself), it worse yet, it won't unlock. Because somehow the set-ring let's the combination get reset when you spin the dials after you lock it.This is the 2nd lock I have had to physically cut off my bike (after I walked home and got a pair of snips). By the way, it takes NO effort at all with a pair of pliers or snips to cut through this cable, by the way. Don't kid yourself - all this does is keep someone who has no actual tools from stealing your bike. Anyone who brought some sort of hand tool that cuts could remove this in 10 seconds.Either way, I'm done buying this odd brand. I've bought them before and they last forever, but this particular brand and model has failed me so quickly twice now that I can't do it again, even if it's cheap.I went to a store and bought one made by MasterLock, and that thing has been a tank. It feels solid and well made, and hasn't failed me yet.

Easy to use
I use it to cable our side gate shut. Easy to set. Strong. Reasonable price.

Sturdy, good number visibility, gets the job done
No cable lock is "high security", but these are definitely better than most I've seen. The numbers on the dials are high visibility, which is a HUGE bonus in my book, and the action is smooth and reliable. I bought six of these things and set them all to the same combo, and my family uses them interchangeably to lock their bikes up to a single mountpoint in the garage. Works really well. The six foot version has plenty of reach to lock two bikes at once through their forks and around a shackle, rack, or pole. The included bracket to mount the lock onto the bike itself while riding is pretty useless, though. It only fits on the seatpipe - and only on a full sized adult bike, and only if you don't have tail lights, or a shock absorber in the seatpipe, etc. That knocks it out for every single one of the six bikes in my family. If you want to ride with this lock instead of leaving it at home, you'll need to toss it in a saddlebag, or backpack, or just lock it looped around your fork, like any other lock. With that said, it coils up into a tight loop without fuss every time, so it is plenty easy to bag-pack, even in a pretty small saddlebag or handlebar-mounted pouch.

Does not last 5 months of use
I do not recommend buying this bike lock, Titanker 6ft. It broke into several pieces after about 5 months of intermittent use. I was at the bike rack and all the number rings came tumbling off. I reached out to the seller who said that because it was more than 1 month since I purchased from Amazon, that I was not entitled to a refund. What they are essentially saying is that their warranty is only 1 month long! Shocking! I’m sorry to say - Don’t waste your money on this.
