Crest Pro-Health Clinical Deep Clean Mint Rinse 32 Fl Oz

This is the first time I've felt ripped off buying something on Amazon. These are 16 ounce bottles. Not the 32 ounce that I had expected. Which makes them a very expensive purchase. I should have run down to Walmart where a 32 ounce bottle is 6.49. Once burned, twice warned.

This mouthwash caused a chemical burn in my mouth. I used it every day for 3 weeks, and initially felt a burning sensation that I assumed meant it was working. After a week, my mouth became extremely dry, everything I ate left an extremely salty taste in my mouth, and my tongue turned white. I went to my dentist and they couldn't figure it out. I went to an ENT and they thought itmight be oral cancer (!) or a blocked salivary gland. Symptoms slowly started to subside after I stopped using it, but when I went to urgent care after still experiencing discomfort, I was diagnosed with oral lichen planus, which was an autoimmune reaction to this product that causes inflammation and pain & discomfort, with no cure. I'm pissed that Crest gives no warning of this possibility, especially since I'm not the only one this has happened to. This is poison. Do not use it.

My fault, totally. The only bottles I've ever seen are 32 oz. At Walmart they are 6.99. I paid 26.00 for four. Thought I was getting a deal till they came and they were 16 oz bottles. Nearly paid as much for 16 oz as 32 oz. Still, I didn't pay attention to size. My bad. I'll take the lumps but what an exorbitant price! Come on Amazon, why do you permit this crap? Fool me once, shame on me. Fool me twice, I kick your ass.

My wife used for 1 day . . . Her entire mouth, her tongue especially is burnt and tender. She explains that it feels like she ate a scolding hot bowl of soup. She says she hasn't changed anything else with her teeth cleaning routine except use this mouthwash, so I'm pretty sure this is what caused it. She followed the instructions rinsed toothpaste out with water before use, swished in my mouth for only 30 seconds and within 1 day her mouth is burnt and tender, see pictures of the top and bottom of her tongue its red and irritated. Even one of her taste buds turned completely white. Maybe her mouth is more sensitive than most, but she can't nor won't use this product again.

It works. No doubt about that.Some side-effects:1. Dead plaque turns a brown color. This residue may need to be scraped off if your brush can't reach it.2. I have impaired sense of taste for a few days after using this.
