Very happy with this light
This solved the issue of trying to install an electric version with what would have been a difficult hookup under a sidewalk. The light is bright enough for our expectations. I like the look but would have preferred design with a less flat top. We found a sale on this style so the price was very fair.

Extremely Cheap Construction, price is completely unjustified
Disclaimer: I am a mechanical engineer, I build stuff for a living. I've never seen such poor quality manufacturing in my life. The supplied fasteners are only coated for cosmetic purposes, the aluminum hub where the lamps fasten is threaded directly into with small fasteners. The aluminum threads ripped out before the lamp was even fastened. The steel stud on the lamps came rusted.The box I'd came in had clear damage and just plain looked old. There is evidence of corrosion while the lamp was just sitting in its box, I can't imagine this thing surviving very long outdoors.Overall, poor design and even worse construction. So many basic design principles blatantly violated. Save yourself the pain, invest in something well made, preferably American made.

Lamp post cracked and failing.
I originally bought this beautiful lamp post from Amazon in December of 2020.but it arrived missing a part of the post and I returned it. Amazon didn't have another available to replace it, so I went directly to Gama Sonic. They sent me a new one with all its parts.Fast forward to this afternoon less than 9 months later. Today I noticed cracks in the cast aluminum post, so we took it down before it broke. I've attached pictures that show the cracks. I have emailed Gamma Sonic for help with replacement parts, Ora whole new post. I'll update this review when I get their reply.

HELP -was only a 2phone calls away!!!!
HELP!!! I received mine today, it is absolutely GORGEOUS but one of the lights aren't working. I put the bulb and battery in one of the other lamp heads both worked. After putting them back in original lamp, nothing. My first communication with customer service was less than stellar. .******update********after contacting Gama Sonic in Georgia again. The send person I spoke with (Melody) was way more courteous & they replaced the faulty lamp top. It is Gorgeous!!! CHANGED RATING

Great illumination but a painful installation.
The good side of this product is that it looks great and provides great light for a solar lamp. On the negative side, it will not fit a 3inch standard pole so you can t use it as a replacement. You will also have to build a cement foundation under ground or have a sidewalk where you can anchor it.
