I might have been confused because it said, "canvas pad", so I was assuming it was like their massive acrylic pad which is AMAZING texture (it's like a canvas texture but incredibly better), but this is an odd type of thick paper. It's not horrible but it's hard to blend and it IMMEDIATELY causes my acrylic paint to dry the second it touches it. I've never seen acrylic do that. It may be ok with oil, that's not my preferred medium so I can't say if it would work well. I liked the folding aspect and I was excited to try this but I probably won't buy this again because it's a pain to use with acrylic.

This is the best invention I’ve had the privilege of getting my hands on!! Okay, I may be a little dramatic sometimes but I still stand by what I have just stated for this awesome acrylic foldable pad made by Arteza! I just absolutely love how easy it was to fold. I especially like the perforated areas and the easy directions located on the back of the pad. It was a pleasure to paint with my acrylic paints and markers. With a Thick texture yet smooth and soft way my paint brushes on this pad, I just relaxed and let my imagination come to life on this acrylic paint pad. I later displayed my beautiful artwork which was really no work at all. My paint blended nicely and my pencil shaded with ease. I plan on buying some more pads, one for me and now one for my husband. He tried this pad also and was hooked! Thank you Arteza for A Job Well Done!!

I loved working on this paper. It works well with basic markers and colored pencils, it got a little tricky using acrylic markers but still held up well. I had read in another review that the paper was difficult to fold, but I folded the clothes eases first then folded long sides first and it went together very easily. Can’t wait to do more projects with this paper.

very sturdy.

Easy to assemble. Not super sturdy.. but I’ve gotten into paint pouring so a small area to work with.Great for the grand kids to create something cool. I don’t retreat buying these! May purchase again
