Dr.'s Remedy Enriched Nail Polish-Precious Pink

I pursued ballet quite seriously as a child, and was put en pointe too early and too aggressively, leading to a lifetime of chronic pain. I have extensive nerve damage in my feet and injure them often because I can't always tell what's going on down there. I also developed ingrown toenails on both big toes, and had to have surgery last year to correct that. As you will see in the photos (pardon my unmanicured hobbity toes, I can't get a professional pedi until the nail grows out fully), much of the damage has grown out and the new nail is healthy, but the remaining damage is gnarly. The photos show 1 coat on the big toe of my left foot, compared to my bare toenails on the right foot, and both feet fully painted with two coats. The polish is thin and a little streaky, but I got pretty even coverage with just two coats, and the color is gorgeous. I wanted something that felt very natural, clean, and feminine to camouflage the damage going into summer. I was guessing about the color, as the photos are NOT accurate at all, but I figured a cool toned mauve would suit my cool olive skin and it ended up looking really pretty. I feel great about the ingredients and formula, as I have been using the clear base/topcoat from this brand for years and it has been great.

I found this product when searching for a nail polish that might be safe - or even helpful?- for nails that get fungus. This product advertised that it had tea tree oil in it, so tried it, because I've applied tea tree oil for two years on my big toenails and I've found it's the only sure way to grow in health nails (though it takes forever!) This year I felt ready to wear sandals in public and wondered if there were a polish I could apply that wouldn't get me in trouble again. (Because it was leaving on a polish too long, two years ago, that started the problem.) So far I've done two applications of this product. Each lasted two weeks and still looked good. I removed it because I don't want to leave any polish on too long from now on. I still apply tea tree oil nightly and between applications I gave my nails a break of about a week between applications. But I'm so happy to have a polish that I know I can use safely when I need to.

This is my first order with Dr's Remedy nail polish. It is the WRONG color. Bottle I received has no label on the bottom. This is 2 coats you see. I ordered Precious Pink which is a definite pink. Color I received is almost white with the barest pink in it. I would like Dr's Remedy to mail me Precious Pink I ordered and paid for. Then I will redo my rating. The nail polish itself is good. Covers completely in 2 coats. Brush is very nice wide brush. Brushes on smoothly, just received some unknown color since no label. You can see picture of bottom of bottle, no label with color. Color not printed anywhere else on bottle. I hate to leave this negative review. I like the polish, just not the color.Got the package on time.

I rated this a 5 because this is the only nail polish I use on my toenails. The color is very light pink (almost white) and the polish has tea tree oil in it which helps with fungus. I would recommend this product to anyone who has toe nail fungus but beware---you still need to remove the polish every one or two days to let your nails breathe ( at least that is what I do). This is my second order of this color and brand of nail polish. Even though it is expensive, it is worth it if you have nail fungus.

Even after 3 coats Precious Pink barely covers nail discoloration. Very thin formula. Light odor. There is no shine, matte finish. Nice color if you are looking for skin tone/nude. Can barely see color through nylons. I used Dr. Remedys enriched 2 in 1 glaze after for shine. Dried fairly quickly. Finish seems to be holding up well after 3 days of wear but I'm sure the glaze helped. Will try a darker color.
