The AquaFrut Bottom Loading Fruit Infuser Water Bottle is easy to use and easy to clean. When cap is closed I can throw in in my purse for easy carry and never worry about leaking. My go to fruit is lemons. I do take the rind off for the best flavor. Only thing I would change is to have the bottle insulated to keep water cold. That said I have frozen my fruit and that keeps water cold for a long time. I would recommend the AquaFrut Bottom Loading Fruit Infuser Water Bottle to everyone!

I am so happy I found this product! I absolutely cannot stand plain water. I was always buying those flavor packets or drops to add to my water. Then I started learning that the ingredients in those products are not always very good. I was also drinking a lot of soda. . . equally bad for you. So, I smashed up fruit one day and put it into my water bottle thinking it would add flavor and be healthy. Well, it was gross. I had chunks of fruit floating around and it just did not go over well at all. Then I stumbled onto fruit infusion. A way to add fruit to naturally flavor water without the mess and chunks in the water! I did a lot of research into these bottles and I really liked this one because it had the fruit basket on the bottom. Several reviews on other bottles claimed that as you got to the end of the bottle, the water didn't have as much flavor. I just got this bottle, so the only fruit I have used so far is oranges. I just peeled an orange and then cut a few slices up and put them into the fruit basket. I let it sit for a few minutes and the first sip had a little bit of the orange flavor. As I began drinking it more, I could taste the orange more and the flavor lasted through the last drop. I am so happy I found a healthier option to flavored water! One thing to point out is that this bottle is listed as 24oz. That would be if you used the bottle without the fruit basket and just used it as a regular water bottle (which you can do). If you have the fruit basket inserted, then it will hold approximately 16oz of water. Also, I did read some reviews that complained about the cap hitting their nose when they drink. I don't know if they have older models of this bottle or what, but the flip top cap pushes back completely flat. When I first opened it, it seemed to only open at 90 degrees (hence the complaint with it hitting the nose), but then I gently pushed it back and it went all the way back. The hinge is just tight enough so the cap doesn't flop back and forth. When opened and pushed back, it will stay in place. To close it, I do have to push down on the cap and then push the lock tab inward under the tab. No big deal to me, but just wanted to mention that. I am a little bit concerned about the durability of that tab and hope that it will not break. But the bottle has a lifetime warranty, so if it does break, it looks like I would be covered. I would recommend adding ice to your water. It does seem that water doesn't stay cold for very long. I did tip the bottle upside down when it was full and not a single drop of water leaked! I would definitely recommend this product to anyone and will likely buy another one!

I love that the inside chamber for this bottle loads from the bottom! The bottle itself is sturdy clear plastic with a metal rim, with plastic caps that screw on the top and base. The latch for the mouthpiece cap could be more durable; it's plastic latching over plastic, so it'll probably fatigue over time/after repeated use. If the latch or buckle break, there won't be a way to keep the cap closed, so that could be a problem down the road. But, overall, it's a neat bottle and makes some very tasty water. Not bad for under $10!

This bottle exceeded my expectations. Being bottom loading, I worried about constant leaking. To my surprise, it seals well. I only had one instant where it leaked a little from the bottom, and the problem was easily fixed by tightening it a bit more. The plastic is strong and durable and has held up well even with a few minor drops. The top is well sealed as it does not leak when tipped on its side (and the lid is closed, of course). Something I also love about this bottles is that the bottoms does not 'sweat' when it has been out of the fridge for a while.The clear plastic part does, but the solid green piece of the bottom does a nice job of not leaving 'sweat marks' everywhere. I have used top loading baskets before, and they did not seem to work as well as this one. Once the water got 'below basket level' on my old one, the flavor seemed to spontaneously disappear, even if it was drank right away. With the basket on the bottom, there is a constant flavor even when it sits for a while in the fridge.

When I first purchased the product, I noticed that it was difficult to drink out of it. The construction of the cap, and opening on the bottle was a bit weird, but I got used to it and even stopped using a straw with it after a week or so. I also noticed I noticed that the bottle leaked sporadically. As a result, I had to be careful when I reassembled the bottle. Despite these concerns, I was pleased with the product until close to a month after purchase and regular use I noticed a black substance around the seals when I took the bottle apart. I have soaked the top and bottom of the bottle but it will not come out. The substance appears to be mold. Out of concern for my safety, I no longer use the bottle. I have another infuser that is smaller and I never had an issue with mold on that product. I have emailed customer service on 2 occasions and I have not received a reply despite the lifetime warranty advertised with the product. I would not recommend this product to anyone who wants to use it for longer than a 2-3 week period.

Pros: It has good quality rubber seals and solid, leak-proof construction. Fruit container is located at the bottom so your liquid continues to infuse even when the bottle is partially full. It also has a nice, wide-mouthed, drinking spout that is good for bigger gulps Cons: Lots or difficult gaps and seams to reach when hand washing with a cloth (brush makes it easier). The inner edge around the bottom of the bottle portion is poorly machined and VERY sharp. I regularly cut my hands trying to wash the inside of the bottle. Caveat: Not sure if it is dishwasher safe (I don't have one) but washing it this way may eliminate the cons listed

This is my most favorite. Easy to clean. Won't leak and amazing for natural fruit water.
