Holds good amount of water, but not too much.
Pleased with purchase. Have never used before but handy for large watercolor wash areas. Dries pretty quick.y after use.

Poor Craftsmanship
The hair stays on the brush, which is fully functional as an art tool. But the handle is not very nice to hold with its rough edges, random cuts and splintered edges.

Works well with slip application
I bought this to apply colored clay slip to my unfired ceramics and it does a great job. Seems to be well made and holds a good amount of slip for application.
