this is the tea i buy to treat myself. It's not inexpensive but it is a lovely light amber tea with smooth tannins and light aroma and a bit of smoke. I do a 3 minute steep and don't rinse or re-steep.

Best golden monkey tea out there! Comes in metal tin and sealed in freshness bag. I cut bag, leave in tin and always fresh! I have it everyday as cold brewed tea through my ninja brewer. I love it so much....I get a new tin every 3 weeks. It lasts me about 4 weeks if I skip a few days...but I do not like running out. I like a teaspoon of golden monkey mixed with 1 tablespoon of decaf tea in my brewer. But if you love caffeine.. .do more than teaspoon and you will have a nice caffeine high!!!

This is my husband's favorite type of tea. The expensive online tea store we normally buy it from has been sold out for weeks, so we tried this one. GREAT FIND! It's just as good as the more expensive one. We'll be back for more!!

Got this tea for my fiance for Christmas after he casually mentioned loving it but not getting it frequently, and he can't stop thanking me for getting it for him because it's so good! We have a different taste in tea so I don't completely understand the hype, but if you or someone in your life loves earl grey(ish) tea, this stuff is apparently great. And it's because they use only specific leaves which are the "golden tips" which is pretty cool.

I have now ordered the Golden Monkey Tea twice from this seller. The tea is *absolutely amazing* -- the best tea I have ever had. However, the first package seemed suspiciously small (I could not understand how the bag was supposed to last "91 servings", as was listed online; the bag itself did not say that on the label or listed the amount in oz). Indeed, when I placed the second order, the bag I received was about twice as large and had "91 servings" printed on it. I took a picture of the two bags side by side, and it was pretty clear that the fist bag was much smaller and not what was intended to be sent for that order. Given the high price of the tea (~$40 for a bag of 91 servings), I contacted the seller (three times now) asking either to send another small bag, so the total amount of tea for the first order would be adjusted, or to find some other solution to fix the issue. I never heard back, so will not order from them again.

It's kind of funny -- I love tea. I keep thinking I love it so much I should open my own store and just might.I usually don't offer reviews because I get annoyed with all the time it takes to write these.BUT --IN this case, I wanted to say I love the tea and very much appreciate a note from Golden Moon Tea. It's just a nice note that says hey - do you like it and if you do please write a review. But what I really like is the following offer to make it a good experience if for some reason I'm not happy.It's just a nice touch.Thanks, friends. I love the tea. It's every bit as good as the one I had from a different vendor -- and buying from Amazon means I pay for the tea and avoid the excessive shipping charge from a different vendor.

Did not like the price. It’s good black tea. Not better than most othe black tea.
