Bought these for my 10yr old son who liked to take over my cross stitching. He loves them simple, quick patterns so he never gets bored of using the same color and pattern all the time. So far, he’s done too, and he’s not slowing down! if your kid likes slime or any kind of tactile activity, they’ll like cross stitching. I’m so glad things like this still exist. Keeps my child from being on electronics all the time.

Great to help new crosstitchers.

I purchased this as a gift for my niece. It comes with items as promised, but the instructions are super -minimalistic : just a few sentences on the 2 stitches to get started. And there is no box. It arrived in a small plastic bag. So, it doesn't really have the appearance of a nice gift. I decided to buy a basic book and a decent box to hold the items, and wrapped that as the gift.

No. This is too cheaply made to be any good. Unless you’re a seasoned pro, it’s unwieldy and cumbersome. The “fabric” is so hard to fit into the hoops that I, an adult who have done this before couldn’t make it work. Bought for my 9 yr old niece- threw it in the trash when she left
