This formula also contains Boswellia and turmeric extracts, both powerful anti-inflammatory herbs, which I also take on a regular basis. The amount of turmeric extract in this formula is a little low. The only reason I gave it four stars is that turmeric extract and Boswellia are absorbed more efficiently when paired with other chemicals that enhance absorption. These include lecithin and black pepper extract. This formula does not contain any of these, which might limit the effectiveness of these herbs. Overall, however, this is a powerful joint health formula.
