I really like this tamper it has a nice weight feels nice and is good quality i had 2 previous tampers which just did not work well with the dedica non pressurised basket because of the dimeters i first went with a official 51mm delonghi tamper which just did not press down enough because of the tapered basket so then i bought a 49mm tamper which was too small i then started looking for a 50mm tamper but i could not find one anywhere then i was going to just buy this one and sand down the sides but then i seen a customers review saying this tamper is actually 50mm and not 51mn which was perfect for me so i ordered it and i couldn't be happier this is such a good tamper and definitely improved espresso shots. overall this tamper is great and i have nothing bad to say i highly reccomend it for those with a non pressurised dedica basket

Very substantial item, the tamper face is machined from billet stainless steel. Diameter is exact.Although it doesn't say in the description, it IS adjustable and so you can self-calibrate to 15Kg by turning the handle.Personally I found the action to be a bit rough so I took it apart and put a piece of hygienic plastic sheet around the spring to give a smoother action. That's how I know how well made it is. Impressive for the price. Recommended :)

This coffee tamper is a great product. It feels weighty enough to provide ample tamping pressure but isn't so heavy that it's difficult to hold. The fact that it is spring loaded means we always apply the correct amount of pressure which has made a massive difference in the quality of our espresso shots. So much better than the rather flimsy plastic scoop / tamper our machine came with. The little tamping mat it came with is also super handy to sit the portafilter in when doing the actual tamping. No more holding it in the air or worrying about the counter top. Highly recommend

Always wanted one but they appeared to cost crazy money. When I saw the price I had to chance it.Best purchase of the year! Instant improvement in my coffee!Strongly recommend. My Bambino loves it!

I needed a 58mm size but when this arrived it was so incredibly heavy I couldnt keep it. Nice design and would be easy to clean but worried about dropping it on my foot or on the worktop and damaging it. So ordered another that was lighter.

Nice tamper, good weight and looks nice. It's a bit loose in my 51mm baskets and according to my ruler it's 50mm diameter not 51, but it's near enough.

It's heavier than I thought, in a good way. A polished piece of metal that does exactly what you think it'll do. Rubber mat for it to sit on is a neat idea. recommended.

The tamper looks and feels like a well designed and beautifully made object. Having a nice weight, it does a great job of tamping very finely ground coffee. An excellent purchase!
