Brilliant, has kept the squirrel out and the birds happy.Easy to use and keep clean. Good value for money perfect size for the small birds who like to sit in it and eat the sunflower hearts.Very sturdy

The feeder is quitye sturdy,but the plastic tube that holds the seed is not stable,it noves .It has done the job,our birds quiockly got uised to it.I found it difficult yop open the top,but that miight be my arthritis!!!

Arrived damaged with the internal seed tube detached from the base. I had to purchase super glue to fix issue which seems to have worked.Otherwise it does seem to be quite sturdy and so far its keeping the pigeons & squirrels away.Would have higher rating if was not damaged

I found the larger birds like blackbirds, doves and wood pigeons were the most frequent visitors to my bird table, with the smaller birds hanging back for a quick turn but soon disturbed by their larger friends. It took a while for the birds to ‘adopt’ this feeder but it’s in good use now….it needs regular top ups. Small birds can get in and out of the caged area, and feed undisturbed. Our friendly robin was a bit wary at first, got in fine, but tried to back out and the framework ruffled his feathers, but soon learned to enter one side and exit the another, forwards all the way. Blue tits, goldfinches etc are sleaker more agile birds and find no trouble at all hopping in and out.

DO NOT BUY THIS. The worst build quality of any product I have ever bought through Amazon. Top was spot-welded to hinge at a skewed angle so you cannot open / close without considerable effort. Central tube very cheap plastic, does not sit correctly on the base, and was received cracked. Product non- returnable so straight to landfill - great for the planet! Partial refund from takes Amazon 5-7 days. Really. I’m off to to the local garden centre.

After a few months of using this feeder I have realised a major design flaw. It does keep the larger birds and squirrels from feeding but the bottom edge of the feeder ports are about half an inch higher than the floor of the feeder so there is a layer of seeds that the birds can’t reach. I noticed this when that layer of seeds started sprouting. Most feeders would have some kind of shaped/sloping floor to ensure the seeds were guided to the feeding ports to avoid this issue. Now on the hunt for a better large bird and squirrel proof feeder.

Questa mangiatoia per gli uccelli è assolutamente un fallimento.. Visto che i buchi dove dovrebbero poter entrare nella mangiatoia sono troppo piccoli anche per l'uccellino più piccolo ho tagliato alcuni dei fili verticali riuscendo a far diventare più grandi questi accessi alla colonna di semi.. Niente! Neanche un uccellino ancora ha voluto rischiare di rimanere "imprigionato" perché la mangiatoia è semplicemente troppo piccola.. A questo punto ho buttato via i €17,69 che ho pagato! Ho altre mangiatoie ma quella che è una colonna per le palle di suet lasciava tanto materiale sul terrazzo e attirava i piccioni.. Un'altra una "casetta" in legno era letteralmente attaccata dai piccioni anche quella.. Ho optato per questa mangiatoia pensando che avrei risolto il problema dei piccioni con questa ma non vengono a mangiare più gli uccelli selvatici! NON COMPRARE questa mangiatoia il cui prezzo è salito addirittura a più di €36,00! Sconsiglio vivamente l'acquisto!Vorrei aggiungere una nota in più per questa mangiatoia dopo un periodo che ce l'ho. Finalmente gli uccellini selvatici stanno visitando questa mangiatoia.. Non sono sicura se i miei ospiti sarebbero arrivati se non avessi tagliato la gabbia della mangiatoia in due punti permettendoli ad entrare nella gabbia per mangiare dalla colonna comunque vedo che si litigano un posto alle aperture della colonne per cibarsi.. Peccato che l'oggetto non sia stato disegnato con più cura perché trovo che l'idea sia ottima per tenere lontano i piccioni che era la ragione principale per cui ho optato per questo tipo di mangiatoia.. Certo che se qualche granello del mangime con il vento o con la forza degli uccellini a mangiarci cadono per terra possono arrivare qualche piccione per mangiare sul pavimento del mio balcone ma non c'è l'aggregazione che c'era prima con altri tipi di mangiatoie. Direi che si è salvata in curva questa mangiatoia.

Installé ce matin, hâte de voir, mais étrangement, aucun moineau n'a encore osé s'approcher, pas même les tourterelles. Je ne comprends pas. Très décue ! Dès que je vois un moineau (mésange) rentrer dans la mangeoire et ressortir, je changerai mon commentaire, promis;

Con questa mangiatoia ho raggiunto il mio scopo, che era quello di impedire ai piccioni di divorare i mangimi forniti per passeri e cinciallegre. Tuttavia la stessa non é perfetta nel gancio di chiusura che tende a spostarsi e mi pare molto delicata la plastica che contiene le granaglie....forse si possono migliorare questi aspetti, prezzo giusto.
