Zebra Pen SARASA Clip Retractable Gel Pen, Black Ink, 0.7mm, 12-Pack

I’m so amazed by these colored Zebra Sarasa Clip gel pens.. I finally found some pens that won’t break the bank and yet are flawless (the pilot ones cost too much for me right now). I just bought them and might update the review later since I’ll use them often for colored note-taking. If I do, I’ll update about ink longevity, etc. Packaging was accurate to the image. The pens write smoothly, feel smooth against the paper, and the design feels durable and well-made, especially with the way the pen nicely clicks “on.” The clip works exactly like a clothespin and can latch onto thicker items in addition to thin folders/pockets, like a very small book or binder cover or something. It feels comfortable to write with as well. I swatched them right after opening and it came out fluid and full onto the paper. The ink is quick-drying, with it completely drying after about a second or so. Color variety was good, but I really wish there was purple. The first blue (right under where I swatched black) is kinda purplish, so I might just sub that in instead? But all the colors are beautiful and are *very* accurate to the barrel color (even the yellow-green)! I sketched Yuji and Megumi, and they worked amazingly as expected. I messed up on Yuji’s eye so I put down some whiteout tape and the black ink was completely dark black on top (some other gel pens, when writing on whiteout tape, dry a few shades lighter). Oh, and they don’t bleed through paper! The looseleaf I was using was just one ripped out of a random spiral notebook I had, so it was pretty thin. You can still see the ink through thin paper (not a problem for me), but it’s not bleeding through. Now I wanna buy more colors in the future if I can!

Writes very smooth with great flow. Dries quickly and is affordable than most pens in the market. It’s a perfect blue colour with correct writing thickness and grip. Ink doesn’t see through the page

I love the grip of this pen. It feels good in my hand and makes writing easy. Love the 0.7 point.

The pen is affordable and the writing passed wet hand and rubbing alcohol tests, but the ink is running fast. However, there's no complaints for such affordable price.

These pens write super smooth and feel great in the hand. The grip is comfortable and makes long writing sessions easy. Ink does not bleed or smear in my experience. Simple, cheap gel pens that still feel reliable. They have become my favorite for journaling. Nothing fancy, just consistent and easy to use every day.

I am enjoying these so much! They are smooth, the colors are lovely and the color differences are subtle. So when using them in my journaling game it does a nice job differentiating sections or calling out words and phrases I want to highlight without the difference being stark. They have the zebra quality we know and love plus the clips I did not know I needed. The clips are made so they are not one with the pen, meaning when I clip them to something a little thicker the clip expands since it is a hinge, reducing the risk of snapping the clip off the pen. Great value for the money. I would buy again.

Feels a bit rough off the bat but after writing a bit it feels really smooth. Its almost identical to the Bic Gelocity. Smudges a bit but not a lot.
